It's an interesting concept Linux mobile device. When I think of the key attributes of a tablet, I think a mobile device like this must have good battery life. I want to take a tablet anywhere and use it without lugging around the cord. I probably couldn't justify getting one, at this time, simply because nothing I do necessitates a tablet and that's really all that prevents me. Thanks for covering it and it was a good review.
Well I wouldn't call it a review, just taking a look at the marketing or specs. Seemed like an interesting Linux product to discuss. The comments here have not disappointed lol. Thanks for sharing man!
The price with a battery of 3500 mAh is a deal breaker for me!!!! I would love to purchase a really good Linux tablet but have yet to find one that meets my standards.
I went with a galaxy tablet because I got one for my birthday. That's pretty steep for a tablet if you're not really into digital art or mobile gaming, imo. For the same price you can probably get something better for mobile gaming if that's your thing. My girl friend is into the gacha and mobile games in general. I have the 180 degree opposite in needs in a tablet. The Galaxy S6 lite does everything I need and is already 4 times better than the tablet I was using. (yeah I had it a long time, it's old)
While four cores and 8gb of RAM aren't great, they're not bad either, and that it's an x86 instead of an ARM certainly ranks it higher. The only keys I see missing on that keyboard that I'd really miss are Page Up/Down and the Home key, but if you tell me the function keys can be used without pressing the Fn key then I'm sold.
maybe you dont need a desktop you need a tablet(and no you cant get a beast desktop when CPU that i would think belongs in a beast desktop costs half to 2/3 of 1000$).
I thought this was going to be a review of the device itself.
It's been out this long and we can't even find a real decent review of it. Sucks to drop $1k on something you have no idea about.
@@jasunto Agreed.

I understand that. Hopefully the hardware scene only gets better and filled with more competition.

i think this is ment to be tablet tablet not a drawing tablet
Well it definitely can serve that purpose and if it's not, then why is the marketing with a drawing program on the screen?
There is no defending ANY tablet with a price that high... it's not a laptop edging towards being a desktop replacement. Automatic failure.
first
im looking to put linix on an old sm-t580 samsung galaxy tab a . i dont know what distro i should use though.
who the hell will buy this . with this price anyone can get a beast desktop tf developer was thinking

The price is pretty dang high, but I complain about that with Linux hardware so much I figured this time I'd leave it out 😅
