Thanks for the detailed video, it helped me with self installation of the hardwire kit for on my elite i20. One suggestion I have for anyone else trying to install by themself is to use MULTIMETER to find the ACC VCC Only when ignition turned on if you are receiving a power supply on any of the fuses you can use it for ACC and even when turned on if you are receiving the supply then same can be used for VCC. Hi Amit, it depends, some car manufacturers (Hyundai, Ford) offers enough room in the fuse box area to house additional spare fuses and in Maruti the area is restricted, i managed to stick the cover with tape but it is absolutely fine if you keep it open.

Hi, I tried hardwiring my 70mai rearview model with 70mai hardwiring kit but I think the kit does not work as intended because the cam always shows as "P" as in parking mode even when the car is started. I have a renault triber and the fuse box & manual did not have a "ACC" fuse as such so I connected it to the MediaNav/Radio center console fuse. I have connected the VCC to the Horn fuse. Please advise if the connection is correct and if the "ACC" wire was connected properly? I tried other fuses as well like "Front Accessory Socket", Left and right "Low Beam socket" but none helped.
Hi Siddaharth, The "P" sign appears on your dashcam screen whenever the dashcam detects and store an emergency incident or vibrations while your car is parked and will continue to appear on your screen until you open your gallery and check that footage. Regarding your hardwiring, VCC is correct because it needs constant power supply to operate and horn remains active all the time, ACC needs to be checked using a multimeter to make sure that there is a power cut at MediaNav/Radio slot when you turn off the ignition. Hi, Only current speed is reflecting on downloaded files, for some reason the overlay stats ( Total KMs, Trip Duration and driving Pattern) are not being synced with the saved files. DDPAI is already working to fix this issue on priority and a firmware will be released shortly.

While I was installing Dashcam VIOFO A129 DUO PRO I got fuses which were LP MINI fuses with Hardwire kit but when I opened the fuse box I found the fuses used were not LP MINI but I think these were MICRO 2 fuses. Hi Yatish, Hyundai use mix set of blade fuses, mostly Low profile mini and Micro 2, the best way to identify the fuse type is pull out of the fuse from the fuse box and match it with the one received with the hardwire kit. Regarding the spare slot, yes you can use that if there is a power supply.
Don't worry nothing will happen, i am using this hardwire method since last 2-3 years and sharing my personal experience. i claimed my car warranty thrice for other spares(headlight & door locks) and the claims were approved in one go. Hardwire comes with double blade fuse set and it is 100% safe.
Hyundai uses mixed set of fuse profiles. It is mostly Micro 2 connector but still you can pull out one of the fuse from your car's fuse slot and cross check.

Hi Sandeep, the dash cam will operate normally even if you skip hardwiring, the only benefit you will miss out is the parking monitoring while your car is parked. Rest everything will operate as usual.

Hi, I tried hardwiring my 70mai rearview model with 70mai hardwiring kit but I think the kit does not work as intended because the cam always shows as "P" as in parking mode even when the car is started.
I have a renault triber and the fuse box & manual did not have a "ACC" fuse as such so I connected it to the MediaNav/Radio center console fuse. I have connected the VCC to the Horn fuse.
Please advise if the connection is correct and if the "ACC" wire was connected properly? I tried other fuses as well like "Front Accessory Socket", Left and right "Low Beam socket" but none helped.
Hi Siddaharth, The "P" sign appears on your dashcam screen whenever the dashcam detects and store an emergency incident or vibrations while your car is parked and will continue to appear on your screen until you open your gallery and check that footage. Regarding your hardwiring, VCC is correct because it needs constant power supply to operate and horn remains active all the time, ACC needs to be checked using a multimeter to make sure that there is a power cut at MediaNav/Radio slot when you turn off the ignition.

Hi Rattan, No, you can set the battery protection option to 12V in advance settings, the camera will auto turnoff when the voltage reach 12V. You can setup parking duration as well from 15mins to 48 hours, after that the camera will stop recording.

Hi, Only current speed is reflecting on downloaded files, for some reason the overlay stats ( Total KMs, Trip Duration and driving Pattern) are not being synced with the saved files.
DDPAI is already working to fix this issue on priority and a firmware will be released shortly.
Can you please tell which type of fuses used in Creta 7DCT TURBO 1.4 L ? I could not find ACC Fuse in my Creta 7DCT TURBO 1.4 L in fuse box in passenger compartment. While I was installing Dashcam VIOFO A129 DUO PRO I got fuses which were LP MINI fuses with Hardwire kit but when I opened the fuse box I found the fuses used were not LP MINI but I think these were MICRO 2 fuses. Please also advise whether I can use spare fuse for installing the Dashcam in place of ACC.
Hi Yatish, Hyundai use mix set of blade fuses, mostly Low profile mini and Micro 2, the best way to identify the fuse type is pull out of the fuse from the fuse box and match it with the one received with the hardwire kit.
Regarding the spare slot, yes you can use that if there is a power supply.

Don't worry nothing will happen, i am using this hardwire method since last 2-3 years and sharing my personal experience. i claimed my car warranty thrice for other spares(headlight & door locks) and the claims were approved in one go. Hardwire comes with double blade fuse set and it is 100% safe.
