Follow the release of this video CS.money contacted me to provide a comment on their business structure, which I've provided below.
- cs.money as a service is owned and operated by a Cyprus company, which means that we operate within the Cyprus laws and pay our taxes there
- we have nothing to do with Joachim. Cs.Money founder and the owner has never changed - his name is Pavel Dunaev, you can easily find him on LinkedIn, for instance
- though Pavel has a Russian origin, he is a Cyprus resident and lives there right now
- we have R&D stuff in Russia, but we also have people from Ukraine, Belarus, and other countries as well, never been or felt like a Russian company
ok

Give knife plz
hard pass, i got chrome
Actually for me the time before the float-overpay was the best. Because in that time you could buy rly good floats for the normal price. For example, I made a lot of profit with the Crimsonweb-knifes.
Small remark: Joachim is definitely a normal Belgian name tho. Less than half the country speaks French, the majority talks Dutch, so asking a french person to evaluate that name for you wasn't the best move. Also it's basically pronounced yo-ah-keem. It's not the most popular name but you regularly come across it in the entirety of central/northern Europe. The lead singer of Sabaton is called the same for example.
Also was a very popular name here in germany in 70s 80s
Yep, Joachim/Joakim is a very popular name here in Scandinavia.
@@h8koN yeah i know like 10 joakims
niemand heet joachim man
@@BanjoTownFan Mijn naam is joachim
I mean, them saying they are the most PROFITABLE trading site isnt exactly wrong on their side..
they forgot to mention that it’s profitable for them haha
Is there any alternative for cs money? I saw some site named loot farm but idk if it's any better.
@@sp33dVP Not sure since i don't really trade nor sell items but i would say that pretty much any site which is being sponsored by bigger CS RUclipsrs such as Heyzeus and Anomaly (for starters) are pretty good.
@@sp33dVP Skinsmonkey, tradeit, cstrade, dmarket
Well "Joachim" is an actual name in Germany, not very common but a legit one.
And many people from Belgium speak German, especially those that live close to the border
ruclips.net/video/0luXvJs1m_w/видео.html Your opponents before the game xD
also more than half of the belgian population is dutch
its only a very small part who's native language is actually german. Some dutchies, depending on their studies have to learn germany tho, but that's only economics and studies based on economics. idk what the language learning is like in the french part tho.
@@Shikitera speak dutch*
@@antondemeyer5755 are dutch*
just to be 100% clear: only half of Belgium speaks French, the other half speaks Dutch (Flemish), so in the Dutch speaking part of Belgium (=Flanders) Joachim is a very common name.
there is also a huge "deutschsprachige gemeinschaft" which means german speaking community
@@ptrjnsn5719 True but nobody cares about that part
You are nobody but speak for everybody 😂👍
Back in 2017 I used to buy market price redlines add 0.10c skin in a trade and trade it on cs money for a full holo/foil sticker crafts, good old days...
Long story short: Their trade prices are way off, their buy/sell prices are thief.
Actually for me the time before the float-overpay was the best. Because in that time you could buy rly good floats for the normal price. For example, I made a lot of profit with the Crimsonweb-knifes.
but for traders, its not
its funny how you can trade your FN knife to the exact same knife in BS and still have to pay for it
I am the "greedy piece of shit" at 7:05 :D
The problem wasn't really that they raised their fees, but rather that they tried to be sneaky about it at first, and only publicly announced it after the backlash.
Also they had a 2% or 3% fee before that, so it felt pretty big at the time. But that was almost 5 years ago, things have changed drastically since then, its easy to laugh about that post now.
Why did you put greedy piece of shit in quotations
sorry I should've blurred your name. I made the mistake of assuming everyone in the community I go around saying mean things about in the community has long since quit but uhh...turns out no, it seems they all watch my content actually 🙃
@@TDMHeyzeus you in the big leagues now :)
@@TDMHeyzeus Its all right, it was a long time ago and that post definitely didn't stand the test of time. It seemed like a fair point to make back then, but it does sound greedy and stupid now. As for the mean things you said, it fits the narrative well and most profit traders have questionable morals anyways, so its totally fine by me
@@bvoros361 Damn, what a surprise that you happened to see this video, and so soon. Great to see that you ended up taking it well, instead of creating a fuss about it in the comments section. Also, I definitely see where you came from, given that the skins market was so different all those years ago.
Bro I stopped playing cs 3 years ago but still watch your videos about these stories
I did for 1 year almost
I returned yesterday, probably half of my friendlist is death lol
Good and important video lad, thanks for clearing possible new players up!
Very nice video! The only thing Cs money is good for today is really to look for different skincrafts and use the 3d feature to look at different skins in different floats.
csmoney is the GameStop of csgo skins
Just want to add on the Extremum part.
Cyprus companies have to have a Cyprus citizen as CEO and a Cyprus address.
So when you want to create a Cyprus shell company to avoid capital gains taxes, you get in contact with people who make such companies and you will get assigned a CEO and an address(postbox).
So just because the Director of both companies are the same, it does not mean that the real owners are.
RUclipsrs are completly killing this Site. now its gonne be gone in a matter of months (in my opinion its a good thing)
Good
who cares
They are killing it byself by pricing items way off.
@@lageri3293 i pay a bit of premium and get the item instantly, rather than talk a guy from kyrgyzstan who i have to argue 23 days about the price.
What about opera GX? they can all bag out other sites & sponsorships while recommending 3rd party browsers & VPNs to people. Like why do we need a vpn to game? I've never used one in my life lol. It's all the same at the end of the day their only intentions are to filter more money into their own pockets. Keep your skins on steam and dont worry about all these pesky scammers and sly people lol. heyzues is slowly becoming the same, no matter how much he want's to glory this & act innocent about that. EVERY single one of these traders, and 3rd party people are un trust worthy. I mean these guys literally take money for sponsorships to tell you to download a VPN that VPN or opera GX now has your IP, MAC address & your details....... LOL One thing I can tell you as an Australian, is never trust a guy who claims to be aussie, but only spends his time with internet friends & playing chinese servers. this guy doesn't even connect to australia anymore. He's in that cyber world now & in 3 years he will be living in singapore taking your money too!
I used to take advantage of the bonus they paid for keys + promoting in your name, you could buy keys on op skins between $0.75-$1.30 and flip them on cs money for $1.49+. You could then buy a high tier skin from cs money, sell it on op skins and start again.
I bought my first ever knife after I returned back to cs like a year and a half ago not knowing cs money was such a trash site and since then have seen so much shit being said about the site being not worth it to buy from. Biggest regret I ever made after seeing the prices be like 20 bucks less on actual good sites. But hey still got my knife so at least it wasn't all bad.
what knife did u get and how much did you drop on it?
He said he lost like 20 bucks so probably a knife in the 100$ range.
Funny thing is, lot of screamers/csgo icons know this, continue to be sponsored by this, and turn a blind eye towards it, these are the same people who talk about integrity in esport scene.
dude. I love the videos and please keep the long-form investigations coming.
A lot of russians visit/live in Cyprus, maybe their location is legit, plus Joachim-Ιωακείμ is a greek name (the language Cypriots mostly speak)
FINALLY!!! I WAS WAITING THIS VIDEO FOR MONTHS!!!
People really need to understand the value of a PR team.
The solution to the price hike problem was to just ban some big name traders, run a giveaway, paint them as bad actors because they tried to take advantage of the site.
Whos here after they got hacked?
I'm Australian and in csgo I've been getting 6 ping I don't know how my ping I'd that long considering I have no bars in my room
damn i was hoping you had gotten csmoney to sponsor this video. that would have been legendary
Why did you just gloss over the extremum ownership? Excorp clearly states they are the owners of cs money and im sure there is more to be uncovered about the founders if you dig deeper into that.
9:30 why there is hidden surname in the main part of the website and then you can see it on the right side?
would be funny as hell if it was sponsored by cs money
awesome history lesson, as always
10:10 his name is censored on the main bar but not on the side ones in the top right lmao
Epical vidya my gamer!
I have a great idea for a video: make a video on websites to use for trading/ cashouting with the best comission, trusted sites. Just some tips for starting traders
Having not heard any of this a few weeks ago, I bought a knife off the site, a FNbowie doppler phase 2. The price was good especially since I was using cash and also took advantage of their premium free trial. All in all, at least with the bonus from the free trial, the price was significantly better than I could have expected from a lot of sites and certainly better than the steam market itself. While I don't think the things they did are good, my experience was positive overall and I think they do deserve credit for that. I also think many of the complaints mentioned are worse on many other sites with respect to mark ups and general shady pricing. I also don't particularly have a problem with them keeping their prices high during the bubble except that they also locked accounts. Its not really fair to blame them for doing something they have the right to do when the traders on the site are simply trying to take advantage of them. At the end of the day though, the preferred alternative is a free market like the steam market, but with less fees and better features like float and sticker upcharging.
I have been watching ur videos as of late and u were sponsored by them at least a couple times haha
One year ago i was trading my knife for gloves and awp wildfire while i was trading they had been hacked and some one stole my knife after that i wrote to the cs money support and they said that they cant give my money back :(
it's called an API scam
ruclips.net/video/0luXvJs1m_w/видео.html Your opponents before the game xD
you were hacked, not them*
they didnt get hacked, it was your fault...
good old times when i used to buy skins 75% market price on third party sites and not 10-20% over paying for it...
9:25 the way he butchered that name really hurt
Why Do you have Warcraft 2 theme soundtrack on the background? ) xDD
anyone notice if you get a deposit bonus all skins in the trade side of things raise that same percentage?
thanks again for your effort and pointing it out once again 👍🏼
"Joe Jim" is my favourite Belgian name
I've literally had to resubscribe 4 times, I don't understand why youtube keeps unsubscribing me from your channel.
Ngl i have my fn butterfly slaughter from cs money, but i only did that because my stattrak awp lightningstrike was priced double back in the day for some reason, even though i couldve got it for way cheaper on the steammarket. Ngl nowadays its hard to find a good deal, but when you can have a good deal, do it. Double check and tripple check because the algorithm is not perfect, use that exploit guys
I wonder how mutch longer that site can work when pricing is so mutch off that using steam is cheaper.
Looking at old screenshots of soovie Dlores selling for 3.8k just made me cry
I once had a FN .009 T2 Bluegem AK-47 and they didn't give extra... A friend of mine then bought it off me and traded it some time later... The ak was worth around 900$ and csmoney only offered 70$ ish.
Back in the day they had no idea of the patterns unless someone personally inspected it, I got lucky with that and got a emerald bayonet for next to nothing as the site didn’t know what it had.
So what trading site should I use?
omg not sponsored by skinport
Wtfff
i was expecting the skinport ad ngl
cs money does not pay, they say the reason is that my limit is insufficient, but when I talk to my bank, my limit is enough, how can I solve this error exactly this is "CARD LIMIT REACHED"
I was waiting for this one since i’ve heard you trash on them for a few vids i watched recently. this why i use cs deals no cap. please lmk more buying sites.
you know that video has good story when back music is from runescape
Before even starting, I hate Csmoney cause they give you absolutely jack for your skins and bump up their prices to offset the “Extra money” they give you from deposits
You should do a video of a positive csgo trading site or known trader who've helped the community
those 2016 skin prices hurt to see lol, ST FN kara dopplers for 650$
but if they say they will give you a cash out option but never do im pretty sure thats breaking some sort of fraud law
Anyone want to bet that Dracula has sunk his claws into this one after learning how to hide his identity better...?
I’ll admit I always use their 3d site when making new sticker crafts. Saves a lot of money when you know exactly what sticker to buy for what skin
It's Allright but the skins and stickers don't look anything like they do in game when there's actual lighting and holo effects going on.
@@fVNzO I know but still better than going in blind imo, they also have the wiki thing where you can check case hardened patterns so you don’t have to look in game to see how much blue you’re getting on that sweet BS five seven ch pissgem
use broskins
YESSS another vid!!
waiting for this since the last vid's easter egg
thanks for another great vid :)
i never understand how trading profit in csgo worked i remember people sending me death threads as a teenager because my skin was 0.01 cent lower than their skin and call me lowballer
Joachim is not a rare name at all? It's pronounced Jo-a-kim, not joatjin. Maybe this name just doesn't exist in AU? It's very common in EU.
I know like 5 of them
@@jeppepuus i know 0 nowe 1
I think you made a mistake at 10:12, you blurred his last name under the avatar, but it's still listed on the right side
i get souvenir iem 2019 rust coats from there
A little information on "Joachim". It's pretty common name for the native dutch speaking part of the country.
Can you please make a video about site that is good nowadays in your opinion (maybe buff, maybe skinport etc.) Thank you so much :)
you should make a good trading site i mean exchanging my skins for the ones i want
factors outside of the owners control broke the website but the owners would rather exploit the users rather than take a loss
Missed a few blurs on "Mr. Founder".
they wouldnt even let me spend my money, they made it so hard. went to the ol steam market
Which trading site or market should I use to appraise my skin now?
As far as I'm concerned the site in 16-17 was one of the best that it is to this day. I completely agree that in the past the prices and commission was very excessive. Now a lot of things have been fixed and for good and finally they have introduced cash out system.
always the osrs music bro love it
I was gonna put my new AWP Hydra there and i saw this video, now i guess i will hold on to it for a bit longer, thanks for the video Heyzeus
You forgot to mention them charging so much extra fees with items that have good floats
That bandicam tho lmaooaoa
They offered low payouts for your skins and the prices were higher than steam market.i used it to convert a shit 7$ drop and a m4a1 leadglass for a mecha industries one
from which site do you get the "real price"?
can we get a video on the best CSGO trading site and how it works?
joakim* its not only french
3 days ago they scammed 17 cents off me and i got rewlly mad
what song in the background
just a heads up about their origins since i'm from Greece and i've been to Cyprus, theres A LOT of ukrainians and russians there so it doesn't surprise me at all that it is a connection between those 3 countries
They also scammed my skins one time taking them for nothing
More csgo lore videos pls
Really good video
Holy shit the way you pronounce Joachim :D
Oh damn. I'm also in that video haha.
I also would've had some probably unknown things to add to your list of shady things about them.
Awesome video
Really unfortunate watching all of these relatively useful sites go to shit just for the sake of money. With how profitable it is when you’re not using shitty/scummy business practices in the first place why can’t you just be satisfied with what you’re making instead of ruining the business and hurting the community, when you’d also realistically end up making more money in the long run by just being a decent company.
9:38 His name is Jo-A-chim german name.
I got a csmoney add at the start 💀
10:05 top right last name leak?
Belgium guy here: Joachim is a pretty common name in the flemish region (basically dutch speaking part)
I still use the 3D skin builder though
Nice runescape music lawl
Yo does anyone know the site on 19:49 I need it for a school project (not kidding btw)
Lmao I remember I have a Glock 18 with a nip Kato 2014 best position and the site literally says the sticker ads 0.13€ 😂
I remember a time when csmoney took less money than steam market fee, nowadays steam market fee hasnt changed but csmoney takes like *4-5 TIMES* MORE THAN STEAM MARKET FEE
