I’m 16 years old and your videos absolutely inspired me to play blues and boogie woogie piano, I only wish that one day I will play as good as you. Very well played.
I love blues, jazz, swing, big band, early 1900s and world war 2 era music especially the piano and vocal performances of that time & style! Cheers to all with great taste who feel the same!
Thanks for sharing this with us, I think you just took a seat at the table with the greatest of the greatest. Feel bad for those 29 dislikers who couldn’t get their speakers working.
Bravo ! Boogie Woogie played musically. There's so much of just thumping being posted as boogie woogie these days, it's so nice to hear it being played as you do. Well done. Cheers.
🎵 That's an absolutely wonderful left hand there Arthur! Beautiful to see you go from boogie to stride and back again in tempo! You don't drop a beat man! Incredible to listen to. Yours must be the best version ever! Just such a Pleasure to watch. Wonderful! 🎵
A lot of practice went into this much fun and joy. "How long would it take me to learn this song?" 30 years. I gotta laugh when my piano teacher looks at me like "How could you know be able to this?" without really asking out loud. He doesn't realize how I have nothing to go on, most of the time. It's all new. Great share, thanks.

Dear Arthur. You are a boogie pianist. No halves or maybes, you either have it or you do not and you have It. Great to listen to a guy that understands his music and plays it sooo right. It is a pleasure listening to you. I can imagine you in Tin Pan Alley with all the musicians trying to sell their songs and playing like you. Nita.😎
Hope things are going well. Love this, you have the "bounce" you can only do it if you understand the music. Even Gershwin had that bounce cross handed even. Great. Nita ✋👏
From a pianist point of vue.. Breathtaking, absolutely incredible.. I'm used to play the blues and yet I wish I could have just a fragment of your talent. Bravo
Gadzooks ! You are absolutely magnificent, Mr Migliazza ! Kudos, sir ! Two thumbs up ! I could listen to you play all day (and all night) long ! THANKS for sharing your terrific talent with us ! CHEERS, mate ! :-)

I saw you years ago in Munich Prinzregententheateras as guest of Martin Schmidt, I hope to see you again here in Munich. The evening was really great .
Sepp, thank you! That was one of the most fun shows that I have ever been a part of. I really loved Munich and loved hanging out with Martin. I do hope we do it again someday. Thank you!

Ok very good....now let's see you on the Hammond :) The organ came later, so the true organ boogie is not based on Handy but the Cogic Shout, a tradition that lives and breathes at the root today. With great respect for Cory Henry and Mike Bereal, to my ear the Prokofiev of the Hammond shout is Eddie Brown. To me, that's the living boogie of century 21, wonderful as echoed tributes, highly polished like yours, may be. I'd love to see you expand into that genre, which is also great on Piano. But the Hammond, even with it's one great limitation (which was too expensive to mass produce:touch) takes the shout, and rock and roll, into a fantastic realm where the piano cannot go..though it's still the best training platform for any keyboard, and you do it justice here. Thank You.
LOL I love the hammond organ. Great sound. I love the physical workout of a real piano though. Nothing compares to the feeling of digging into real wood, weights and levers.
i learned st. louis blues from my my mom as a 12 year old .... you are also very good,,,, do you sing... and don't forget the diminished parallels in your r.h.as the 8 to the bar rolls.

Excelente técnica. Su ejecución se compara con Earl Hines y Erroll Garner. Thank you!!!
OOOh what FUN!! Thank you so much..
Thank you!
What is this technique called at the beginning, for instance at 1:37 - 1:39. I wish there were a tutorial on how to do this.
I don't know if there is a name. I'm just chording with the left hand, mostly in 10ths, and arpeggiating chords with the right hand.
Have a look at Chopin's study op. 10 n. 1 [and try 10ths instead of 8ves with the left hand]
Brilliant
