Joe Shit the Rag Man was sitting in as a session guitarist for Gravel Girdie's 4 hour tantric jam song "Everybody Knows You Dance Like You Fuck" around this time so there's no way he could be on tour.
That opening jam.......it's one of the best riffs I've ever heard.

They actually have played it quite frequently in late 98 and early 99 - I have several recordings of this one. Josh actually introduced it as a "new song" at one show. It usually was the Intro to Regular John (like here), but sometimes also to Avon.

Definitely a Marshall, could be his JCM800 (I think?) that he used in Kyuss before he started using his Tube Works RT2100ES

@Niko, that was the Rock am Ring 2001 performance, where some members got tattooed after the messed up show (Oliveri, Lanegan...)
