- It's Brimfield time again! Join me for the September 2021 edition of the Brimfield Flea Market in Brimfield, Massachusetts. Enjoy nearly 3 hours and 45 minutes of flea market excitement!
Did I miss anything good? Tell me about it in the comments!
Enjoy!
This is one of my very early flea market videos and it's a bit rough. Check out my flea market videos from about mid-2022 going forward. I think the newer ones are much improved. Thanks!
Holy flea market a lotta good stuff
Thanks! I'll have more flea market videos in the spring!
Now that’s a swap meet! Awesome you can be there all week to see everything!
Awesome swap meet! Love it!
Barbecue sign was cool for the backyard
Now that dude had a great 4x4 cart!
Amazing to see a painting we sold opening day over on Hertan's show up at 7:00 into your video on Quaker Acres, it's the winter moonlight mass oil on canvas in gilt frame. It hung over our tv in our living room until we brought it to the show... Really nice piece, we purchased it up in Maine near Sebago lake. Anyways, Thanks for the video, if you get a chance this year, stop by Hertan's field Spots 2 & 15 and say hello, Steve & Michelle - Everything 4 Everyone Antiques & Collectibles
I hope to be back in May, so I might see you then!
Wow, that's really cool since there's about 100 million antiques there. Did you make a lil when you sold it? That painting is awesome. If I'm nosy no worries.
I would like the Smurf stuff! From back in the day I’m grandpa Smurf now! Some of the Smurf plushies would be cool and some glasses would be cool!
I like the 1800’s stuff!
That’s what you need that big old round mine!
Also all these haters on this video. Some people don’t realize that commenting on videos like this only bring more to the algorithm which brings more of his videos to said haters recommended on RUclips and also brings more money to this guy who’s posting this stuff. So keep hating and this dude will just keep thriving
The old wood canoe with a old 1940’s or 1950’s engine would be cool!
The railroad crossing white porcupine with clear glass was cool!
The old bar and show cases were cool
It’s always good to have small walk-in talkies when you go to a place that big so you don’t get separated or someone has to take something to the car!
I liked the cracked magazines and mad magazines back in the 80’s and the stickers in the gum packs! You’re competition is next to you! If you could have got all those comics you could open a comic store! If you know what you’re doing? Logan’s run comic? Don’t see those very often ? I like the original Star Wars comic books! What you do with comic books is put them in oak frames so you can hang them on a wall!
good coverage. 21228 that handheld radio reminded me of the movie BMX bandits in 83 with Nicole Kidman. free on yt
I would take the Pepsi machine!
Old fire extinguisher was cool brass red tag
The architectural salvage wow 🤩
Yeah, they have some very impressive stuff there! Like I always say, if I had enough money and space, I would buy a ton of stuff here! Thanks for watching!
Bet they'll take 10 for it
Maybe even less
I spotted our tent at 2:59:14 second tent on the right just before you exit Hertan's (spot #2) I thought you were going to walk buy a little earlier, but you took a left at the intersection and then a right came back towards but then instead of taking another right you exited the field through Vintage Vin's tent (my neighbors tent).
I'll be back in May, as long as the show isn't canceled.
2:48:33 for me. I was on the phone. Working hard or hardly working? Who knows
That’s the way to do it! Motorhome with tables out front and 12x12 tents! 4 of them! Unless you buy a harbor freight. 12x30-40 tarp and metal setup! A rolling store on wheels is the way to do it! And you get to travel pickup stuff sell it on. Line and at different swap meets and pick up stuff and sell stuff? That’s the life! Buy sell and travel at the same time! Awesome! And buying someone out is a option also if you can Tripple or Quadruple your profits! That’s where a extended cab Chevy van and a couple Harley’s comes in hand! Go looking with a Harley buy what you think you can resale and come back with the van and pickup back to the motorhome!
The conversations feel very "flea market" lol!
please do jewelry too!! enjoy watching my haunts with you
I'll see what I can do, but jewelry is probably the farthest from what I know about as a 40 something guy. I'm not sure I could provide much insight into what I'm looking at. Thanks for watching!
No radioactive stuff was a weird green! Saw some at a local antique store last week! Use a uv flaghligjt! You can tell! There was some at the beginning of the video it might come in different colors I’m not a expert
With the buy out/merger of the May Co (Filenes, Lord & Taylor, many others) and Federated Dept Stores (Macy's, Bloomingdales others) Filenes and others locations were rebranded as Macy's. Federated rebranded under Macy's banner. Most major malls had Sears as an anchor. The company I worked for Anderson - Little, a Men's and Woman's Manufacturer and direct retailer, a 75 year old Fall River, MA based company it's later years under and liquidated by F.W. Woolworth Co. Had a presence in all major New England and more East coast malls. Including malls you have featured Emerald Sq., Warwick, West Farms, Holyoke, Hampshire (Hadley,MA), Natick, and many others.
You need to bring a wallet full of cash and a trailer to haul it all home? They actually have a lot of really good stuff there! You can furnish your whole house and farm with everything!
Sausquach was cool
Muy buen video del mercadillo de antigüedades 💎👏 saludos desde España 🇪🇸🇪🇸👍
Thanks!
You need to do a livestream while you’re at this place and have someone taking questions and telling you what not to pass up on?
Nice video. You catch me on the phone at 2:48:43 in my booth.
Glad you liked it! Maybe I'll see you in May!
Great collection of comic books? I would buy the whole lot?
Shit man the only time I see a swap meet like this on Los Angeles California is the Pomona swap meet on the fair grounds and in the buildings, or the antique show at the rose bowl! There’s a couple smaller places but those 2 are the best on the west coast! And hot chicks to look at!
I'm from boston and never been to a good flea market besides the crappy one in revere ma, i need to take a drive outwest
Popcorn machine was cool? Could have been selling popcorn there?
Hey, Tom. I found a “Trim ‘N Glow” ceramic Christmas tree in box in flawless condition. The seller wanted $80. I know these are hot right now so I offered $60. He agreed, but when I got back from the atm, my wife had got him down to $40. I went online and found the same tree in box but with a broken base for $125. I found another one on eBay in same condition as mine for $250! I did good, eh?
What are all those tents set up along the road? That’s insane it goes on for miles?
I would make a deal on all the comics!
Need to angle your “go pro” down a little so we can see what you are seeing. Thanks.
Noted!
It was great, except for the clown flipping through the comic books every five minutes
@@billg9938 Bless your heart.
Tigger inn the box
The pirate girl I want!
We don’t get to many of these swap meets around the Los Angeles area?
You could have spent another day there!
Comic books went out of style a long time ago but everything runs in cycles! Same with baseball cards! Or was it the same?
I don’t wanna say people like comics now, but there’s a thing called graphic novels which are essentially just like comics except they come in the form of a book. The idea of comics aren’t out of style, they have just been more modernized
How many days is this? You need a tent to stay overnight and just keep walking and looking!
I guess younger people aren’t into making money in the business! It’s a lot of work! I did it various times and with a wife and 3 kids in tow I just couldn’t do. It! Very long! You need time to go find stuff to resale! You can make a living doing it but it’s constantly on the look out for deals! It’s not easy when you’re renting a spot in the stores! The malls? And shit disappears into other people stalls! And you have to disconnect yourself from what you like and name brand stuff that’s selling! That’s the tough part! But you don’t want to get stuck with stuff you don’t like then have to auction everything off when you don’t have time to do it anymore!
How was the pricing? Compared to eBay and antique stores?
More comics! How do you know which ones are worth big money? I know the older the better, and #1 is always worth the most?
I feel like if only a certain amount of copies on a certain comic also drives up the price too. Like if only 100 copies were made for let’s say #4 in a series of comics, that drives up the price since it’s “rare”
Where’s the gun and knives section?
Uranium glass?
Doesn’t look like you bought much? I saw a lot of things I would like to have.
Tell them to turn the music off please?
There’s nothing you can do about that music! Except leave like you did!
I wanted to see the furniture
Those phones should be 15.00 each
Looks like all middle aged people there?
back to coat
Free phone
Not interested mom at that price!
Looks like retirees shopping and selling? Not like middle aged and older people need more stuff? They need to be downsizing! Getting rid of stuff and putting some money in their pockets now! You can’t rely on social security!
When you went across the street there was better stuff!
Boring
Thanks.
@@fleabittenadventuresyou are not boring at all.
POOR QUALITY VIDEO
Thank you. I appreciate it.
@@fleabittenadventuresyou did just fine. Ignore the haters.
