Jess Hong was phenomenal. I loved every minute of her on the screen. Now that's a girlboss that should be portrayed more in media. Jovan Adepo was also awesome, as a sassy genius stoner black dude he will most definitely do Luo Ji justice in Season 2.
The cast have really fucking good chemistry with one another, its brilliant to see that they are close friends irl too. Its crazy though that all this filmed at least 2 years ago during the pandemic and now we are finally seeing the fruits of their labour. So glad that it has been renewed for S2

Everyone does a good job but the one who plays Auggie.... she's Terrible. She tries to Overplay and Fails every time. She should stick to another career..if she has one...ugh could have picked a dog or cat and it would have been an improvement.

More than just an adaptation, it deeply explores what the future could hold, including the chance of meeting beings from other planets. It asks big questions about whether we should try to contact aliens and what we need to think about if we do. The series also brings a unique kind of fear, not from scary things but from the huge, mysterious universe around us. This fear, mixed with wonder and the unknown, makes the show more than just entertaining-it's a thought-provoking look at what lies beyond our world and how we fit into the vastness of space.
Rosalind Chao will always be for me, Keiko O'Brien from Deep Space Nine, enjoyed the aspect of a family living on a space station and they all acted so well I believed the premise. I also enjoyed Alex Sharp as Derek in the 2018 film UFO, maybe a niche market (genre) for some but I really liked / enjoyed that film, a slow burn (as they say) but the ending always has me questioning the meaning of life here on planet earth. Great to see Alex Sharp in another role.
Putting Auggie, Saul, and Jin in one frame. These three represents the three lead characters of each book. Three Body Problem - Auggie (Wang Maio) The Dark Forest - Saul (Lou Ji) Death's End - Jin (Cheng Xin) The book is incredible in my opinion.
i hope saul gets better because luo ji was so great in the books… and i don‘t like the character of auggie, i‘m sure the actress is a talented and nice person but i don‘t buy anything she says or does and the way she‘s written she‘s just annoying. love all the other characters though
I'm not sure if it's her, but her character doesn't come off at all as what you'd expect of someone with the maturity and discipline of a world-class physicist.

DS9/Voyage are the best, and ''Keiko O'Brien'' were perfect together, so many great classical actors on theose two shows.
Whenever I see Benedict Wong I expect him to talk about his uncle Jimmy. This is the best cast and show bar none.
