1:40 his soul just opens up. The part of no return I’m afraid. Great artist with a tormented soul. A guy who was at Love and Peace at the start to Tormented at the end. The sad part grew up with these great speakers and very political also of our generation and then HELL.
@@michaelpal5807to think he sounds amazing here . I could only imagine sober Shannon sounding 1000% better. Only issue Shannon had was he loved being high !
They're still a band. Travis Warren is a good replacement for Shannon albeit impossible to match Shannon but he does a great job, saw them play a couple years ago and he does Shannon's music justice.
Tells a story as long as a novel doesn't it? Suffering. Saw him at his last show in Houston. Man was a mess but changed my life enough to make me drive to New Orleans and see where this album was recorded.
Favorite melon song !
Happy 52nd birthday Shannon Hoon rest peacefully.
This is how I feel
He was great
1:30 that vocal control is insane !!
Bro, gives me chills! No shit
@@terror-dom2404best vocalist ever imo. A voice nobody at all can imitate. Much like Joplin nobody can even come close .
Never get tired of listening to this
Rest In Peace shannon
Fuck this song is so cool
It's one of my favs !
They were so cool with him 💔
"With" him? They were a band, together, from the start to the end- ALL of them. No longer a band after he was gone.
@@maryelizabeth1443yes ! Shannon was the soul of that band

I disagree his voice is way to polished . Shannon had that raw uncut sound to his voice. @@AFormerClarity1
More than a front man...
He was the driving force behind the band.
I wish i was there and tell him try again
😢
that tremble at the end 2:36
