- 3D simulation of the emergency evacuation of an Airbus 320 with 153 occupants. Created by the Human-Computer Interaction Lab of the University of Udine (hcilab.uniud.it), it is the first accident simulator with Automatic Camera Control capabilities. The simulated emergency evacuation is inspired by a well-known accident (January 15, 2009; US Airways Flight 1549) in which an Airbus 320 performed a successful water landing after suffering a loss of power to both engines.

this has to be the hudson river landing. it had 155 people not 153. sully landing in the hudson is the only landing i remember where the plane held together.
In the simulation video you do not see the 2 pilots. That's why we say that it shows 153 occupants.

Is this a game you can by on the App Store
There are two different games available. In the "Air Safety World" app (hcilab.uniud.it/asw/ ), there is a game called AirEvac:Sea in which you can play the coordinator of this evacuation scenario in third-person view, while in "Prepare for Impact" (hcilab.uniud.it/impact/ ) there is a level in which you can play this evacuation scenario as a passenger in first-person view.

Why are there kids?
Shouldn't it take at most 90 seconds for an evacuation?
To get an aircraft certified, the manufacturer needs to show that it is POSSIBLE to evacuate it in at most 90 seconds in a simulated test. That does not mean that real passengers in a real evacuation will be NECESSARILY able to be so fast.
