Love my mini 2, I've only had it for about 6 months. While there isn't a flat color profile, there is a color correction LUT by Paul Leeming that works really well if you use the instructed parameters. I usually always fly with at least an ND4 as well. If nothing else, as lens protection!

I actually personally use the original DJI Mavic mini with the 2.7K camera and honestly have no plans to upgrade it at the moment. DJI drones are fantastic
This little beast is definitely the best addition to my tiny cams family! I was blown away when I started editing the footage out of my Mini 2 for the first time. At the same time I expected getting DJI Pocket with wings and this is exactly what it is. I enjoy flying this thing and use the footage in cinematics. Great video! ✌

The quality of my videos is improving but that quality is all about my developing flying and editing skills NOT about the Mini 2. This little drone is super reliable, super easy to fly and shoots awesome footage. Can't say enough good things about it. Great video. Liked. Subscribed.

Ive had my Mini 2 since February. It is a great little machine, which can take some great footage. I did unfortunately lose my first M2 in a waterfall here in Wales🏴 in April, attitude mode and pilot error due to terrain ! DjI replaced it with a new one via my refresh insurance. Definitely worthwhile investing in the M2 with refresh. I use it as part of my drone business, but am mainly using my AIR 2S. When finances allow, M3 CINE will be added to the fleet. Great vid and channel.
I think your logic may be a little off with the zooming While it's true that digital zoom essentially crops into the sensor, DJI likely employs sophisticated algorithms to enhance the image during the zoom process. These algorithms can improve aspects like sharpening, contrast, and noise reduction, resulting in better overall image quality than simple cropping and sharpening in post-processing software. When you crop 4K footage yourself, you might not get the same level of optimization that DJI has fine-tuned for their camera hardware. I've compared similar examples, and the DJI zoomed footage often has better contrast and fewer artifacts than what I achieved with manual cropping and upscaling. In short, while both methods involve cropping the image, DJI's built-in zoom might still provide a superior result thanks to their advanced image processing. Cheers!

Where is the setting to have the mini show directional arrow located in the center bottom of the screen. The one that shows you that your pointing the controller in the direction of the craft ?

@@HenPapirman I also have a Mavic 2 Pro and obstacle avoidance has never been a thing I have had a use for. I just take care while flying! I have actually turned it off on an the Mavic 2 Pro because I couldn't get as close as I needed to with it turned on (for roof inspections etc). Yes, 60fps in 4K would be nice, but I personally think the 2.7K 60 fps footage from the Mini 2 looks really good when upscaled to 4K. I've used that when I wanted slow motion footage and it looks good.

the DJI Mavic mini 3 still worth the wait assuming there will be obstacle avoidances. this will also be a huge upgrade for DJI since the Autel nano already have the obstacle avoidance. bumping the price $80-$200 to have the obstacle avoidances while still being affordable and reliable will make DJI be on top of other Competitors on the market. having obstacle avoidance would also be more appealing for beginner Consumers.
You say you don’t have to register the drone or have a license to fly it recreationally. Is that only where you are located or is that federally legal?
Good overview, but you forgot to mention the requirement for getting a commercial drone license if making RUclips videos with any drone including this one.

DJI is number one in the market for a reason. They build quality drones for all levels of need. Just be sure you understand that even though it's only 249g, if you're using it for profit, or even with a "plan" for the footage, you will have to have you're part 107 certificate. 🤦♂️

I still don't see another mini drone that can bet DJI mini 2 they're the king of mini not that mini Hubsan it has so many problems and you stay calibrating everything the drone the sensor and with cables and you need a computer and not anyone but a expensive one to do the sensor calibration, don't like that you need to jump so much hoops to get it right, so it's not a DJI killer its the other way around.
I returned my DJI Mini 2 and sold my Mavic 3, opting for the Autel Nano+ and the EVO 2 because of the DJI GeoFence Flight Restrictions, which Autel does NOT implement...

I don't think you would regret getting the Mini 2 now as it is an excellent drone and will still be when it's successor is eventually released!
