The fact that he had duplicate and triples, It didn't come from one collection, but at least one collector who picked what he wanted and sold the remainder.

Wonderful! I got a vicarious thrill out of this. I've collected Edison Diamond Disks for over 50 years; I love my Edison Diamond Disks and (of course) my Laboratory-Model Diamond Disk Phonograph. There is so much pleasure in going through a stack of records. You seem like a very nice man who truly enjoys there records; and I am so happy that who made out like a BANDIT! Also, kudos to you for correctly defining the "red Star"; I've heard so many wild stories about this. Thank you for sharing.

I don't know what you paid for the lot, but the Charleston made it all worth it!! I purchased a pristine copy of Charleston...for 400.00 dollars! Like you, I had been searching for one for years!
