I suspect you're using gas struts that are too powerful pushing up the engine cover. Worn out Saab 9000 hood struts work well for this. 8:03. Could the tire have hit the wing? 13:12. Looks like you figured out a way to go with a single brake servo rather than two of them. Not a bad idea. Are you boosting the front brakes only?
