I had a WH Grange prior to my current BF Mk.2 GT-P, and I did diff gears, cam and tune/bolt ons to the Grange. It was a bloody quick car in a straight line. For its size, it scared a lot of other cars off the line. Then one frosty morning in the twisty bits, it scared me and got really sideways and crossed up across 2 lanes due to black ice at 5am in the remote bush drive to work. Having something 5m long going sideways and not wanting to straighten out and being so heavy, it was a big tank slapper. But got it under control somehow. Never had enough brakes even with Corvette brakes adapted onto it, and didn't like to go around corners either. And the poor old 4L60E auto was a time bomb. And then the ABS module began to give it's cracking solder problems and that would cause the headlights to abruptly turn off at night along with all the instrument cluster lights, which was scary. So I bought the FPV and then later decided to sell the Grange as I didn't need 2x V8s. I often miss the Grange though.
