Next time you find a homeless dog, instead of waggling your fingers in their face and trying to pet them, traumatizing and scaring them at the start, let them smell your closed hand, FEED THEM RIGHT AWAY and let them find their way to the food, TALK to them in a soothing voice, then try petting them. Yes sir I agree with you wholeheartedly.. pointing your fingers and waving them around like that confuses them, making him think you're going to harm them. Putting food out and letting them come to the food smell your hand allows them to know you're not going to harm them.. and my comments are not to demean the wonderful things they do for these poor unfortunate puppies.. they are truly Saints.. and they deserve our gratitude...
