Love from India. I'm a huge fan of Vital Signs. Their music is immortal. My favourite line from this song is "Haaro bhi, toh haaro na, ye paigaam hai jeet ka". I'm guessing the great Shoaib Mansoor wrote the lyrics. And the guitar solo is just amazing!
Sohail Azam - Nope. They were first introduced on PTV show arranged by Nazia and Zohaib Hassan on the New Year’s Eve December 31, 1986. Total of three bands were featured. Vital Signs, Jupiters (became Junoon later) and I believe third one was named something Metal. Nazia and Zohaib had to go underground for few days as Zia had banned any musical festivities including concerts. Vital Signs sang the song ‘Dau Pal Ka Jeevan Hai. That was their introduction to the world. Rest is history. The show was in Islamabad.
This is what still gives me goosebumps. I’m in love with this since I was in sixth grade and now my elder son is in 8th grade.... What a masterpiece it is, still reminds me of those beautiful days.... R.I.P JJ ... may Allah bless you in heaven
Some of the so called music scholars over here are exaggerating that most of the Vital Signs songs were copies of English songs. First of all there is a difference between copying something & taking inspiration. 2ndly if copying a song was so easy then every other band would do so & become popular but that never happens. You need a creative mind & sense even to copy something. Then one of my friends is so ignorant that I’m speechless. He said Vital Signs never entered the mainstream? Seriously? You gotta be kidding me. Bands like Vital Signs & Junoon are not just bands, they are a life time, our entire generation has grown up listening to them as they ruled not only Pakistani but South East Asian music industry from late 80s till mid 2000s. I’ve listened to almost all the English songs from which Vital Signs were inspired. They did a much better job than the English tracks. Lastly I’ll quote 3 people who are considered music legends & all of them are accused of stealing music from Belgian, Brazilian, Korean & English songs. Those 3 famous names who made a lot of their music by copying are Led Zeppelin, R.D Burman & A.R Rahman. Cheers. Vital Signs rock 👍😎🇵🇰
ShoMan The Great Lyricist Junaid Jamshed the Sword of Melody, through the hearts of the Enemy. Salman Ahmed The Eternal Axe of Bassistic Beauty, true bone crusher. I love the ORIGINAL. Rest Sucks!!!! Cause you don't understand the true Vital Sign, LIFE not Livid Style and Money. This is our generation song, we lived it and still live it.

And now I am feeling very much sorry for shahzad hassan. I mean was a master guitarist but now his personality has become more unknown. He should be thankful to vital signs to be on the board witj legend junaid jamshed
