Do you know all the English speaking West Africa government are looters of Treasury , highly corrupt founds meet for capital development are diverted into personal banks
You are absolutely right, English speakers underestimate the development of French-speaking countries, especially in West Africa. You can take a trip to Calavi to visit the largest industrial area in West Africa under construction with an integrated power plant, modern roads, fiber optics and all the equipment necessary for the proper functioning of the area. Benin is the leading cotton producer in Africa, but the president has decided to no longer export raw cotton but to process everything here on site before exporting it. This will bring added value and it is not only cotton, this measure also concerns cashew, soy, pineapple... Benin exported a first order of 12 tons only 2 weeks ago. of T-shirts, Pullovers and others to the United States for a children's clothing company. Benin has been classified as a middle-income country by the IMF and is no longer considered a poor country with annual growth between 7 and 8%

I hope Nigerians watch and learn. This is how roads should be built. With road markings each side. With underground drainage systems and with sidewalks. Most Nigerian roads are with opened gutters, full of trash. No sidewalks. Half of the roads, unpaved. Even the paved ones are full of cracks and dust on the corners with no markings, no road signs or traffic lights. The roads are never maintained due to money pocketing corruption by political leaders.

Welldone to the leaders of Benin Republic, the city is beautiful. While Nigerian leaders are busy sharing money amongst themselves other countries are busy developing their country. Look at 8 lane road in cotonou, onitsha to enugu with more money and people, oyo to llorin has 2 lane road. 😂 All other African countries are way ahead of Nigeria now due to government corruption in Nigeria....

Completely agree that the Nigerian government is much more corrupt than any other government in the continent, having said that, it is a common observation that smaller countries are most of the time better organised than bigger ones but that does not make them better in the real sense. For me, you have to be self employed to relocate from a large city like lagos to a tiny city like cotonou with little or no chance of getting a job. America has the biggest economy in the world but it isn't as organised as the small north countries of Europe, like Finland ( my place of resident for the past 4 decades.), Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland. However, in terms of job opportunities you can never compare these countries to the almighty America. So, don't be fooled by what you see after all lagos economy is larger than that of several countries in Africa including Ghana.

It is sad we have been divided between Anglophone and Francophone, and we are bent out of shape to think that one is more exceptional than the other. The West African countries are seventeen only three countries adopted English as their official language, the rest are all French. Thanks for your correction, there are five English-speaking countries in West- Africa.

It’s actually bringing division instead of oneness
They are up to five not three.Nigeria, Ghana, Gambia, liberia and serrie Leone.
Yrs, its possible with a good visionary leader
That’s truly what more African countries need
