Happy new year Jane, we stayed in new years eve, we do every year and usually in bed before the fireworks start! I love your razor that is really useful, my decorations came down yesterday I am the same once it is over I just want to clean up and start fresh. Have a great week. ☺
and there it was... gone.... Much ado about nothing..... hey ho.. Aren't you glad to be frugal?... No after Christmas debt is such a blessing... Happy New year to you and yours. x
Thank you for taking us along on your frugal journey, and with bonus awesome book recommendations. In the new year I plan to tackle my shamefully large to-be-read pile of books.
Happy New Year to all of you. Jane you amused me talking about your razor ! I’m older than you and haven’t shaved anything in years. You become less hairy with age. An unexpected bonus I think 🙂 On the subject of yogurt making. I have found that using full fat long life milk makes the very best stuff. Make mine in a wide necked flask. I put my Christmas tree up the week before Christmas, take it down 12th day … I just love seeing my Christmas angel on the top. May we all see more Peace and sanity moving forward. Thank you for all you do, inspiring this group ❤️
As we were ill we never got around to putting decorations up and I cannot say I missed them maybe our New Year resolution "don't bother with Christmas decorations "😂
I took down the decorations the day after Christmas. I wanted to take the tree down. Husband wanted to leave it up for a few days. Maybe this weekend. I put my decorations out in November. Time to take down. Happy New Year.
Happy New Year Jane. Re your yogurt milk. Last year I did a cheese making course and we also made yogurt. The teacher said she always used whole unhomogenised milk for the best results. Maybe they homogenise the dairy milk - this spreads the fat globules out in the milk.
If the farmer's milk hasn't been heated enough, the natural bacteria in the milk can prevent the yogurt culture from growing and making the yogurt thick. Maybe you could try heating and the milk to a boil and cooling it so the cultures can grow.
Well....happy new year to you too it all went fast....tfs..all the best.....as we are in the new year, new planner, new goals, and christmas put away..im ready..for many of the new....
One of my favourite Christmas presents was a beautiful victoriana scrap book type small 'hat box' containing 2 packets of Christmas turkey and stuffing crisps and an Easter egg.... from a nutty friend.... it so made me laugh.
You spoke of oat milk. I read how-to make it on the internet. Have you tried to make it? Pros and cons? It seemed too easy . . .🤔. Have a wonderful NEW Year. Thanks for your hard work. I enjoy listening g to your thoughts and meanderings. Best wishes to Justin, Archie, your Mum and all your daughters.
Thank you for all the lovely videos in 2024 shall look forward to some more in 2025 x
I always tell my son "I love to see you come. And I LOVE to see you go!" He laughs every time!
