While Kenya's President William Ruto is on a historic visit to the US, he is facing outrage back home. Many Kenyans are fuming over Ruto's luxury chartered jet for his trip to the US. The price of hiring the luxury jet in which Ruto and his delegation travelled is estimated to be $1.5 million. This has left people outraged given his government's austerity measures and a worsening cost-of-living crisis. Critics say the government is using taxes to fund its extravagance.
