    Thank you for that video. I've been pretty decent at passing by just having my feet forward. However, over the last few weeks, some league players have been using me as a sparring partner for their fives, so I had to pass faster and a lot harder to get through their 5... and then I'd either pass hard enough for the ball to slip through my 3 (feet too high/grip too weak), or the ball would just rebound from my 3 (not catching it, like you say). Neat, I'll practice this.

    Love your videos. This helps a lot and love your drills. I still have not really seen much about 5 bar hand technique. On my 3 bar pull I compress the rod down and snap it through. Should I also be compressing the rod downward with my left hand while passing? I feel like a small downward pressure on the 5 bar, much like a 3 bar pull, would be ideal but have never seen anything videos about what the left hand should really be doing for the pass.

    I never knew you were supposed to move the receiver forward when passing. That explains why my passes bounce off so often.. Thanks!

    Nice. We don’t have this style of table to play on. Balls are not round and table not level. :(. A real pain to play a control game.

    First. thank you for this video. Even having watched this, I'm still a bit amazed at how players can catch a hard ball on a hard man that was struck with tremendous force and the ball sticks to the man. It seems logical to me that the laws pf physics would suggest that one cannot catch a hard object, hit real hard by yet another hard object, yet players do it all the time. By the way, who are you? What's your name?

  • @AzNightmare

    0:17 *I sometimes see players do this: when setting up for the snake shot, they front pin, and then they rotate the man in a reverse rollover and place it back in front pin. Is there any advantage to do this over just leaving it in front pin and just moving your hands to place the handle on your wrist?*

    • @collencole4261
      @collencole4261 3 года назад

      My understanding is that it helps put the rod in the correct position on your wrist. If you think about it, it makes a lot of sense.

    • @AzNightmare
      @AzNightmare 3 года назад

      @@collencole4261 *Yes, I think after about 3 months, I came to that conclusion too. Cause they're reversing the rollover for the wind up. I guess for me, I've always just positioned my wrist on the handle from muscle memory. Maybe not as consistent.*
