Tomorrow I begin my solo journey on the GAP and C&O trail. Of all the the research I have done in preparation the WQED series is by far the best. I am so happy I found these amazing informational videos from WQED. Thank you for providing such a deep perspective on this historic trail! I will not sleep a wink tonight.
I really enjoyed watching this video! It was interesting and put together very well! The only section of the GAP that I biked on was from Ohiopyle to Confluence and a short distance on the other side of Ohiopyle. I would like to ride the whole GAP someday. I am originally from Somerset county, PA but now live in Connecticut and watching this made me miss home!
Would anyone happen to know who the man is at the 50 second mark, who said he biked the GAP four times? He looks like someone I've watched on RUclips before and I can't find any of his videos now.

A great and very rewarding ride, every bicycle enthusiast should put it on their bucket list.

Awesome! Hope to ride the entire trail one day!
Brilliant, Heading over from Australia, as this is a must do trip
Travelled trail in 2018. From Cumberland to Pittsburg (uphill). Beautiful in the autumn.
