@@colonelcider8292i mean it only makes sense, the rich clubs just buy talent unlike before when things were different, there are rare instances where someone actually does something amazing purely by passion. Napoli did it recently and that's why everyone loved it, look at the other leagues, most money teams will always win and money is something players cannot deny. It gets them the fame and stability in their career

@nishantsaxena5077 well I agree to some extent but I wouldn't say Napoli did it through passion.
It's not like the club decided to refuse transfers or purchases and it's not like all the players had an option to move but chose to stay in order to win with thag club. Its not like Napoli's players were all Napoli fans from childhood.
People loved it because it was an underdog story, not because of passion.
Anyway my main point was that "passion to win oil league" is a stupid argument to make. Like these players are linked with PSG, Bayern and Barcelona.
Barcelona is a sort of a exception because of Real Madrid but in LaLiga its still the second biggest club.
Barcelona and Real Madrid have been sucking up all the money from LaLiga.

This happened at Napoli too. All new players, many young future stars. They won the title after 33 years, a good squad who can go far in the UCL. The chairman has made 300 million and can make a far stronger side to compete for UCL (as he stated himself). Instead the manager left, the football director left, and 3-4 of the starting 11 want to leave. Sure Napoli isn't a huge team, but winning makes people think they have achieved the impossible and its time to move on to a new challenge.

The ManCity Owner [ Sheik Mansour ] have great friendship with Pep and he wouldn't let him go and he's willing to bring him any player thay pep request . Pep was manager in City for almost like 8 years now and the Owner didn't sack him despite Pep not winning the UCL all those 7 years .
i think the Owner want him to stay for more years and will bring him the players pep request to replace any free positions to keep Pep around .

Apart from the UCL, Pep has won 2 community shields, 4 EFL cups, 2 FA cups and 5 premier league trophies. And all that adds up to 13 trophies in 7 years!
So why will City's owner think about sacking him?
Don't forget that they've been playing the best and most entertaining football since Pep took over. The Etihad has become a fortress, and that's what club owners want from their managers.
Moreover, this guy has a win percentage of over seventy percent. No other manager comes close to that in the world!

He might be good to find players for his style, but he doesn't know how to work with them when things aren't going well. it's not hard to find players talk negative about him. I haven't heard one player mention anything positive about him after they left the club (or when he left).

I don’t think Laporte is good enough to start and he’s not happy to sit on the bench. Nothing to do with hunger. They showed enough hunger by winning the treble I’d say.
