About 5 years ago, when the same shite clashed with police in Abuja, they succeeded in killing the deputy commissioner of police who led policemen to stop the shite procession.

Between 1983 during Shagari and 1995, 10 mobile police officers will do the job with ease, with no stress.
Police lost its glory when criminals who were only interested in making quick money began to be enlisted into the force, I bowed out of the corrupt system.
You forgot to mention that the government has been holding their leader for years against court order.

My, sincere condolences to the fallen gallant police officers, and to those who suffer reprehensible afflictions, one way or another...but,in all of this melee,it is incumbent on the COP...FCT, to be less "emotive", in his submissions... paradoxically...his situation is more of a "bereaved" father... understandably so...but, what about, the "State", channeling her energy to the root cause of the incident in the first place?... Let's, design an holistic approach to the issue, rather than primordial sentiments... God save Nigeria 🙌🙌

Mr Igwe, the FCT Police Commissioner should be redeployed immediately before he precipitates further messy confrontation. A public servant who is operating at the level of Police Commissioner should not exhibit or display temperamental problems in the public..It is unbecoming of a very senior public servant.
Contrary to the claims of the FCT, Police Commissioner, f Mr Igwe , the members of Shia involved in the procession as captured in the video were all carrying placards and flags. No one in the procession was seen welding Cutlass or any weapons.
Against the background of the records of how the Police manipulated accounts of their heinous and gruesome activities in the past to cover up their tracks..it is ludicrous that Mr Igwe is asking for the dead body of any members of the Shia to prove that the Police killed any members of their group.
Setting up an independent panel of inquiry becomes imperative in view of the apparently ambiguous claim of Mr Igwe, the FCT Police Commissioner.

In my opinion, the jungle has matured, let the police commissioner and his oga (Wike) go and collect court injunction to stop the religious protest.
My question is , the police that stopped youths from organizing a peaceful protest with threat, teargas, rifle and the courts this month were not able to curtail shite activities in the F.C.T.
CP , it's only the courts that can determine if the arrested members of the movement are guilty or not- not you.
