Didn't that turn out well? Thanks for another great dive Andrew. By the way Joe, I think the fish at 2:40 is a Butterfish (Pholis gunnellus) sometimes called a Rock Gunnell - there are loads of them under the bridge.
exellent work i really enjoyed this thanx for sharing :) some strange looking species in the straights amazing footage , do u know what type fish is 2.40 ? ive never seen 1 before
Panasonic lumix TZ20 in its housing & Keldan luna 4 Video lamp which is brilliant at producing even illumination. NB Aditech make a similar lamp at half price.
Hi I was just wondering are you from this area? I see you've uploaded a lot of different diving videos in different areas? Was just looking for more information about diving in the Menai Strait.
I am from Cheshire so North Wales is our nearest decent diving area. I don't know a great deal about this dive as I tagged along on a dive organised by others. I do know that it is very important to get the correct state of tide to dive this site safely. Chris Holden has produced a detailed ebook on north wales dive sites including this one, Dutton divers at Vivian quarry regularly visit this site, Bangor uni bsac & Gwynedd sub aqua should also be able to help
@@iciclediver Thanks I reached out to Chris Holden and have added myself into the Uni group. I would love to feature some Scuba diving either by the Royal Charter or the Menai Strait but my producers may not to decide to green lit it. But many thanks for your suggestion really appreciate it.
Think divers have balls...........I am a crap swimmer and the idea of being under the Menai is horrific and know how fast the current can be..........also I always have visions of you divers stumbling across a lost person.......i know very morbid! The irony is that I am scared of the sea and I like seafishing!!!!!
This is one of the best underwater vids that I have ever seen. Loved it.
thanx alot icicle , what an interesting place to dive im facinated

What great footage! I wonder if you would mind me using a couple of clips from it in another video I'm putting together?
No problem at all
Great video. Colours are crisp and vivid in this , what kit are using for this?

If you are interested in the Royal Charter Chris is your man but you could also try Chester Bsac who visit it regularly
