Its not only his amazing powerful voice beltings that attracted me, first song that made me crazy over his voice was everytime that emotional delivery there is almost no high noted but the affection with that voice made me crazy . All of his osts is amazing the feel he execute he is like a story teller his solos are also about emotional delivery with ranging from very soft affectionate voice to anger,sorrowful powerful voice . We don't know his exact level since he never had long conversation on camera, but few fans who met him in Dubai and int. fans who came to his fansigns, noted that he's able to held conversation in full English (fan from fansign had almost 20 minutes long convo with him). He also was seen helping other members with English (as in translating for them) and interviewers from America and Dubai noted that Chen has best understanding of English from group.

Actually many korean are very smart in english even they are very good than english native speaker. But most of them prefer to speak in korean because they are proud with their own language like japanesse. Thats why korean idols and artists rarely speak english because they want to show off how they proud with their own language. Thats what are been teaching in their country. So if you go to korea dont assume korean are rude just because they dont reply you with english, so you have to understand korean if you want to speak with them.

Some ppl only know him for his notable skills in hitting high notes, but Chen also have a strong low register (idk the correct term but it is something like the low notes) plus the vibrato. Also, he sing differently whenever he's with exo, exo cbx and as soloist. His voice seems different when he's in group and when he's solo.

Not just kpop idol, but actually korean also have many talented non-kpop singers that can sing in wide range so thats not really shocked. Just because in kpop world there are rarely idols that can really sing in highnote then evrybody got shocked. For me its not something new, because im not just a kpoper but im also go through the whole korean entertainment industry. Just for e.g there are Kim Kyung Ho and Lee Hyuk of ex-Norazo also praised as good vocalist in korea.

Not just kpop idol, but actually korean also have many talented non-kpop singers that can sing in wide range so thats not really shocked. Just because in kpop world there are rarely idols that can really sing in highnote then evrybody got shocked. For me its not something new, because im not just a kpoper but im also go through the whole korean entertainment industry. Just for e.g there are Kim Kyung Ho and Lee Hyuk of ex-Norazo also praised as good vocalist in korea.
