One thing about Ghee: Most ghee you find in stores is yellow in color and is really clarified butter. Desi Ghee, which is what they make in India, is a darker color, because rather than skimming the milk solids out when they rise out of the oil, they cook it until the milk solids settle to the bottom. This process adds a lot of nutty, deep flavor and color.
So skip the jar, get a pound or two of butter and just cook it in a pot at very low heat until the solids separate, and then fall to the bottom, then strain out the solids and enjoy delicious, savory ghee!

One thing I recommend is making ghee from grass fed butter it’s amazing and east just need some cheese cloth to strain with a mesh strainer 🥰the taste is superior!

I think that butter actually has sunflower oil in it, so depending how strict you are with Whole30, you may want to take that into consideration.

Thanks for this. We started our first Whole 30 today. One meal down! LOL I had found some of these already. I'm lucky, we have a super Wal-Mart a quarter mile away with a Sprouts across the street and Aldi at the next intersection. We watch our sodium so most jarred sauces are out but I still find enough to be useful.

If you’re doing whole 30 to break bad habits and poor diet, don’t watch this video. Using a bunch of pre-packed. Things is very much against the basic rule of whole 30. Stick to fresh foods and vegetables fine 30 minutes before the week starts to cut them and put them in an airtight container or soak in water until you’re ready.
