If you like the Seiko dive watches, you should check out the islander watches by Long Island watch. American continuation kind of of the Seiko skx series and they use the nh36 movement which is the same as the 4r36 but it's what Seiko calls it when they sell it to other companies. They're definitely a good value with sapphire crystal and ceramic bezels. Don't get me wrong, I love my Sumo, my King Turtle and king samurai but for the money it's hard to argue with what Long Island watch offers.
Make one follow up on the lynch deep carry pocket clip for the sebenza.
Already did a video on that.
@@SliceyDicey is not full on clip for sebenza, half is for bugout scales.....i thought one rewiew on the clip and experience using it.
I wait small 31 mikarta inlay and casey lynch deep clip....there are only 2 videos on the clip....and more then 2 on the sebenza (man that knife have a lot video, and it should have, is nice knife).
I wish Demko would have charged a little more and give us a better handle. But whatever, I’m getting one!

I’ve been collecting knives for about 45 years. Never sold anything. Not once. I’ve got over 300 blades at least. Might have more. Lost count. I’m thinking of starting the trim down, finally. Maybe. Have you handled any of the civivi buttonlocks with the flipper or thumbstuds?
They're not out yet.
I've had the Sebenza and the Inkosi and both are great but sold them both. I prefer Hinderers. You make a fair point about the full size Adamas, go big or go home, but I got the mini and I'm pretty happy with that.
I would be interested in what other steels are your favorite. It would also be cool to hear your reasoning behind your designations. Thank you for all you do.
With watches, the good automatic engines are what make them expensive. The older Japanese and all ETA Swiss engines are very accurate thus expensive. My favorite watch is a Deep Blue Marine Diver 500 with a Swiss ETA2824-2. It's accurate as heck! +15 seconds in 14 days.
I want to get one of the 20.5's with the sheeps foot blade also. I have the Adamas, Adamas Mini and got the Auto Adamas today. I also like the Adamas more than the mini but the mini is good for when the full sized one is not as well received.
I read through all the comments (so far) and no one has asked about the Pilar lll. Have you heard anything about the ones with such a strong detent that you can't open it with a thumb or finger flick? I'd like to hear of a simple and efficient remedy!
I have a s45vn sebenza it was made in late March so they should be out.
Mine was April and still S35.
My large inkosi tanto was made May 17, 2021 and is still S35VN 😑
I think the smalls are S45VN now

i have the 20.5 on preorder on knifecenter but i’ve heard some people say those preorders can be sketchy hopefully i don’t get screwed. Any experience?
I pre-ordered a couple Spyderos back in the day and it was fine. But that was a looooong time ago.
Every one of my preorders have been promptly filled when they are available.

Also, nice sebenza! I like the natural micarta, I have a black one and I love it but I want a natural too. A man doesn't need multiple sebenzas but I think I want about six ones 100% including the 2 I ordered direct from CRK that will be ready in... A year or more lol

I've been such a good boy in the knife buying realm....and now I finally got my hands on a Malibu. And the AD20.5 is coming out in a couple weeks!? Then a mystery new release you alluded to? Other Civivi button locks?!? Oh, I see some apologizing to the wife in my future.....
John said the pre orders probably won't ship until July... If they're available before then I may try to grab one and cancel my pre-order... Cause I need one asap

when is the civivi button lock getting back in stock. my pre order never got filled so i missed out. Love the Launch 11. the only auto i own
They told me to hold my full review until late June so I'm assuming then.
I have mixed feelings on the button lock from them, it does look very well executed but I'm just not crazy about the wrist flick to open it. If they had put a flipper tab on it I think it would have been amazing but dialing in using the button as the detent is tough in talking to people I know in the knife industry.
Although if anyone can do it and do it at a good price I think it's Civivi/We
Had a birthday and went on a spending spree, got a: hoback sumo, tops cuma kage, and the damn designs wraith and yokai.... my gf is not pleased but I’m a strong independent man who needs more knives 😂
