We've seen this before. 2007 Patriots, 2009 Saints, 2002 Rams
The 2024-25 New Orleans Saints have an Offensive sytem in place that's damn near impossible to defend. The only way it would even slow down is if they just happen to have a bad game. There are 6 other teams in the NFC that run the Shanahan scheme but right now, after two week, no other team is executing that system better than Kubiak and the Saint's offense. The proof is 91 points after two weeks.. thats 45.5 points per game average.

Our defense is elite only weakness with the bend don’t break is they see the field a lot longer n will be gassed. It doesn’t help with the offense scoring to quick but idk what u are talking about
@@MrAntonnio96 there defense hasn’t need to match but in the past 2 weeks they have the number 1 D in both pass and rush pretty much because the last 2 games the games were over by the first half. Rashid Shaheed is the second fastest WR after Hill he has the second most 40 plus touchdowns so far this yr he leads the league with 2 70 yard touchdowns

I supported Derek Carr for 7+ seasons and in the final 8th year I unfortunately joined the hater wagon to release him from the Raiders I was so fed up with losing, but I have woke up and realize Derek was really the one bright spot for the Raiders in 20 years of complete embarrassment. Even if Carr stinks it up for the rest of his career (he wont) I will be a big fan of his no matter what he's a, successful, well mannered, truly kind, Christian man, unfortunately a lot less of these types of men in today's world it seems.

Anyone paying attention, has known Derek Carr has an amazing deep ball. How many times do you see an NFL receiver have to adjust to a deep ball that's under thrown, by a step? Or have to fade off hard to the side and leap falling sideways to make the catch? Now, how many times do you see a deep ball thrown to a speedster, that is so perfect, it makes the receiver burst a step MORE, to catch it a full yard beyond the coverage at his absolute max speed, catching it in stride, with a burst that not only beats the coverage but assures a touchdown? That pass to Shaheed was a damn fine ball. Carr isn't perfect, but he's playing very well.
As a raider fan I've been saying that for years he has one of the prettiest deep balls in football

I got pissed when Marc let Derek go and kept McDaniel. That turned out to be idiotic. I got so mad at tgat I stopped watching football for over a year. I'm still slightly paying attention yo them, but just slightly lol. Still dig Derek and hope nothing but the best for him in NO.

@@MM-lo8dn actually second line refers to the people that join a parade that follows behind the band. Band being the first line and the second line are just the people there to dance and enjoy the music.
Second lines started mostly as neighborhood celebrations over time they became part of other special events such as weddings, festivals, funerals and so on. Like when the saints won the Superbowl there was a second line in just about every neighborhood here right after it happened.

As a Saints fan, im not surprised that our dawgs are being dawgs. Talent has never been a question, i think the coaching has been the difference with the aggressive play calling
DC4 a few years ago had the highest points against of all time. Meaning he always had to OVERCOME the highest deficits of any qb ever bc his defenses were bad. Carr was always a good qb.
Feel like saints heard Bellecheck from the past. They looked dominant on the 8 minute drive in the second half as well showing they are willing to be patient and won't freak out if the big play is not there.

Derek Carr deserves more love. He was so under-appreciated when he was at the Raiders. The dude is a DAWG and a true competitor. He might not be a top-5 QB, but he’s consistent and reliable without any off-field issues.
I've always been a Carr fan since he was with my Raiders. He's received so much unnecessary hate from so many who are supposedly football fans. He played for a bad team for years and still did quite well with what he had to work with and now he's with a team who actually good and he's showing how comfortable he is with them. They are definitely playoff caliber team

Carr looks like 2015-2016 Carr. He was on fire all season long for those two years until he got the broken leg at the end of 2016. He ran the ball more back then and was good, fast, tough. He’s still capable but I think Gruden coached it out of him.

The thing is, this offense isn't about Carr. He attempted 16 passes against Dallas and is averaging 220 yards per game. They're 3rd in rushing. Carr is doing so well because he doesn't have to be the hero, and all the supporting cast is healthy. Let's see how they're doing in week 10 when other teams have more film to gameplan with and you're missing a couple key starters. Then you can start talking about a potential superbowl push.

My Raiders never should have gotten rid of him. He was not the problem when we let him go. The chemistry h and Gruden had was unreal. Reminds me a lot of how he is playing now. Chemistry is key.
Before the season, I bet the Saints would win more than 7 games. Everyone said I was "foolish" or "dumb" for making the bet.
This team is smoking right now, but as coach said when you have a team of guys who are nearly all 30+ as the season gets longer that age can start to wear on the team and individuals. A battle hardened, experienced group whose QB and weapons are firing on all cylinders no wonder the Saints fans are happy!
