@@SionsTrainVideos It is usually, mainly because the silly single track bridge on the section between Chester and Wrexham, but on weekday evenings you could get a test train and a couple of freights all in maybe around 2 hours. The cement workings to Penyffordd restarted this year and there's also steel from Shotton and logs from Carlisle to Chirk. They can't fit many more passenger services because of the single line than what is on the full timetable in the evening.

Sadly Network Rail are planning to get rid of all loco hauled test trains in the next few years replacing them with MPV style things. :'( Get them whilst you can I guess. It's annoying how everything has to change to units, I wouldn't be surprised if they come up with freight units or container units or something silly like that.
