I'm a huge Toumani fan. He had a solid rookie season, and can be a real defensive menace. If he can develop his shot some, he'd be a great piece.

I'm excited for Toumani's 2nd year. When he works on his ball handling & playmaking he will be really good.

Toumani was really the best part of the Ayton trade, he is younger, better defensively already then anyone else except Thybulle at the wing, as a rookie being given the hardest defensive assignments and doing as well as he did is amazing. If he develops a consistent 3 then he will likely be one of the best 3&D wings in the league. If Scoot improves and shae becomes more aggressive and consistent from range and Clingan develops well and improves his ability to fight for rebounds and positioning, defends at a high level, and continues to pass well I see no reason this team isn’t a top 8 seed in the next 3-4 years. If the team does poorly and is able to draft Flagg and he is everything expected then the timeframe is the same I imagine but they gain a future star or incredibly high level role player who fits with the team, if only Portland could be so lucky though. Sucks because Scoot and Shae have Star potential and we all know it but they are young and still have to show it and prove it and as a fan it’s not happening fast enough, I say this because we have to have patience and it’s hard because we and I want to see it now. Have faith Blazer fans, the losses are wins in the long run because they are learning, despite coaching and ownership problems they are learning as players, the team will get back to winning and being exciting and maybe/hopefully these young guys are a winning group

Agreed, though Bari isn't to me as solid as Toumani overall. Toumani is already better than Bari. Bari looks like he'll be mostly stuck as a tenacious rebounder and a total energizer on and off the bench for us. Which is great to have, every team needs a guy like that. He's also decent defensively both in the post and the perimeter, because he gives a lot of effort, even if he's not the best at preventing blow-bys, closing out, or bodying up when in the post since he lacks strength and size. It's his effort that matters there.

They got lucky getting Toumani, reports said Phoenix did not wanna let him go. Funny enough they could've used a guy like him last season lol.
Cronin also got lucky they got Tou cause like you said, sorta makes up for losing Hart for essentially Kris Murray lol

Toumani is my favorite player on this team right now. Love him and how he plays. Chauncey and Toumani's teammates completely ignored him most of the time on offense, which is a mistake. There was so many times last season, especially in the latter half, where whenever we needed a huge clutch boost on offense to get back in a game, he'd catch fire and be one of if not the only guy hitting his shots, they'd suddenly act like he wasn't even on the floor at all when he was open for spot ups. They really need to trust in him far more this season offensively. He also saved our ass in a handful of games last year, too, giving us single-handedly at least 5 of the wins we did manage to get. He carries because he is unrelenting. Defense, offense and everything in-between no matter what you know he's going to give his all. THAT is how you play basketball, something that doesn't really exist anymore in the NBA.

If Camara and Walker can make moderate development progress while coming off the bench the we will have the contender I think we have. Scoot - Sharpe - Camara - Walker - DC can be the best bench in the league.

But I'm with you on Grayson Allen, as he's a rock solid player, especially as a 3&D guy. Super impactful for contenders, and it was further proven how important he is to contenders' success in the playoffs last playoffs, when he went out.
