Maybe you should add a stop and go lighting system, and maybe separate lanes for each direction? Maybe put the cars on rubber wheels and turn the tracks into like smooth surfaces so the cars can manoeuvre around each other too? We could call them roads?

This is pretty much how you end up with in real life trains passing over airport lanes (yes, really a thing, and perhaps a solid subject for a future video planes vs. trains lol).
Build em high, build em low, but speed will always be the issue. No matter how fast you go, some numpty will always want to go faster. Iron this out, and there will be no traffic jams.
You put a lot of effort into your videos...How much time do you spend making these ? Like coming up with a new ideas, customizing maps or editing videos into final forms ? Cheers ;)
The real traffic solution IRL is running the cars so fast they will be in front of the junction in one frame and behind the junction in the next frame. This way no collision can ever occur! Traffic solved. 👌I take checks.
Pretty much exactly like in real life, the hardest part is just getting them on the tracks Use the world editor to set the train just above the tracks and make sure none of the wheel flanges are clipping through the track (they should be on the inside of the rail on both sides of the train)
Yeah for the police chase, I don't see that track system being useful since the police car moving perpendicular will not only suffer damage from the collision, but also might be demolished from falling and kill the officer inside.
