MASTER English Pronunciation | The 7 Short Vowel Sounds | Sound Like a Native Speaker!

- In this English Pronunciation lesson you can improve your English speaking skill by learning the 7 short vowel sounds in English!
We will learn to use the IPA symbols to read the sounds of English and understand exactly how to pronounce the tricky short vowels! English pronunciation can be difficult because English is not a phonetically written language. What does that mean? It means that you can't know how a word sounds just by reading the word, you must learn each and every word's pronunciation by memory. An easy way to know how a word sounds is to use IPA - The International Phonetic Alphabet which will give you the tools you need to perfect your pronunciation in English!
Make sure you practice the sounds in this video EVERY DAY by repeating them after me in the video! If you do this, you'll quickly become a more natural sounding English speaker and you won't have to worry about mispronouncing words because of confusion about the vowel sounds!

@@nisarali4229 Nisar Ali, sorry, but, "I am an English Teacher" is correct. We cannot say 'a English' because we need to use 'an' when the next word begins with a vowel. Most native speakers would say, "I am an English teacher".

Thank you Didier! Your English appears to be very good 👍 Pronunciation can be difficult but my advice is to really try hard to “imitate” native speakers. For example try to copy the exact mouth movements, tone, face shape until you are confident that you are making the sounds correctly. Another way is to listen to audiobooks and try to repeat what you hear as close to the reader as possible!
