Welcome back Soup Squad! Today's video is a fun one. I recently noticed I actually owned the I-29, and, after seeing the BR get increased, figured I should try it out to see why it went up. Going into this video I knew literally nothing about this vehicle. In theory, it shouldn't be that good, but with an airspawn and good guns, I guess it's hard not to be...
It's safe to say I was pretty surprised by this thing. Now, don't go getting into dogfights (unless u wanna meme around- sometimes, it can surprise you with its performance xD) but a smart player can be absolutely lethal in
this thing.

I also unlocked this thing way back when but I don't even remember how. I only flew it like a handful of times before thinking 'eh'. But oh well, it's a nice piece in my collection of rare vehicles.

It's possible, although I think I've had it for longer, I must have got it from the original event it was available in like 5 years ago. Either way pretty random lmao
Yesterday I bought 11 boxes for fun and had a friend open the first box and this is what fell out. I was literally screaming because I opened hundreds of boxes and nothing and then this happens.

I gotta ask you coming Nimbo… what’s your favorite 109? I really like the f4 variant personally, it’s the first plane I got a kd over 1 in and it really suits my play style.
Very tough, but good question. I played a sh*t ton of the American premium F4 to grind a lot of my American tree, so it holds a special place in my heart. I'd say the G6 and F4 are about equally as fun for me! Glad to hear it suits you, man, I love the 109's because the skill ceiling is so high. The more familiar you are and more you practice, the better you'll do :)
@@nimbosoup sick. I’ve heard from a lot of people that the f4 is the best 109 because of the combination of br and aircraft capabilities. I just got the g6 last night and I can already tell I’m going to like it a lot. I think I like 109s a lot bc of the climb rate- I live a fast climbing prop lol
@@tylerburnell7306I could be wrong, but I believe the best Bf 109 is the Bf 109 G-6.
It's not just that it has such phenomenal energy on WEP compared to other Bf 109s. It's also the fact that it overheats far less than other 109s while it's at it.
The later 109 Gs constantly face superprops, and the K-4 is impressive but still ultimately outclassed.
@MetaReplication The k4 is not out classed.
It does somethings better than the f2g and p51h.
It climbs better than the f2g and it better at medium to high altitude.
At high altitudes, it can out run the p51h if it needs to in level flight.
The k4 has an insane engine and can climb at below 15 degrees angle of attack with an insane speeds above 330kms IAS above 5200m .
Does that thing have bicycle tires for landing gear?
It must 😂😂😂I have no idea how/why the gear broke on that landing... at least now we know why I never use it anyways!
@@nimbosoup there is an easy explanation for this, the most likely reason is because the landing gear was still deploying, I've had this happen a couple times. When landing gear are in the middle of deploying and you try to land they immediately break, basically the war thunder equivalent of landing gear collapsing. So try to deploy your landing gear earlier to prevent it.
@@Carguy1482-2 Ahhh I actually didn't think of this, thanks for pointing it out! In this case, the new question is, why does the gear take 9 seconds to deploy xD very strongk battle bus indeed
