I once worked for menzies. But you had every right to take cos once its in the bin or skip for disposal, legally you can take.

If someone or a company has thrown something away to dispose of it, it can hardly be argued that there's dishonest taking of the property.
2ndly whole reason we now have recycle bins in the uk, and household waste, so its easy to sort before landfill and fines are in place to house holds that fail to do this,

These companies produce tons of waste of still good material. They are very dignified with the laws that prohibit a person from being able to take these materials and recycle them. They would be a source of profit for those who are having a hard time and the rate of thefts and robberies would decrease drastically if only they were allowed to accept these materials destined for the incinerator. But the problem is that governments would not gain after if this waste merchandise were sold, so it is better to leave it in the garbage bins, pollute even more and encourage those who need money to robbery; all this is shameful. Biff doesn't recycle cards like that , I used to tip at a biff site , the only thing they separate is the wood, metal and hardcore. It's gets tipped in one big pile and incinerated with other household waste
I've seen this for 45 years when I got into what you're doing years ago the problem is companies like to write off stuff and then toss it and it's out of sight out of mind the problem is that it's putting it into the ground it's polluting the ground. There's lots of companies out there that have their secretarial pools once a year clean out all their stuff that new pencils and papers and pens and you name it and all of this good stuff that school kids could have goes into the garbage but they're right it off are waste practices suck we really need to make sure that stuff is able to go to the right place so it can be reused and reused and we used again

I worked for this company many years ago. They bought out the previous company I was employed with. When the original owners sold up to Menzies things took a turn for the worst. Didn't take me long to leave followed by 90% of my team.

Hi Martin, can I just say fantastic evidence. I will be emailing the company. My son has just emailed them now. Menzies Distribution is the correct company name. Not menzies aviation. Menzies Aviation and Menzies Distribution were once part of the same company, John Menzies plc, but were separated in 2018. Please make sure you email complaints to menzies distribution.
That employee was clearly looking for a fight. You can see it in his eyes and body language when he said "gwan push me". From his actions, he was defending and taking ownership of product that was already in a bin for disposal to landfill. This was a clear indicator that he was not happy working for menzies, miserable for a better term. And his misery could not allow him to see a bin diver taking all that product for free that had a potential value of over £10k. This was clear intimidatation from the employee. He was playing the role of a security guard, when all he was is a forklift driver. And then to play that silly game of creating a fence and causing danger to a civilian is savagery. These warehouse workers are so miserable with their jobs they become bullies.
It makes me so angry how companies throw away good stuff, it’s so wasteful ! Why not send it charities, schools, hospitals, anywhere but in a landfill !

I never understand people like those dumb dumbs, they don't pay for anything, they are not losing out so why go so far to protect what they wrongfully put in the bins. That employee was clearly looking for a fight. You can see it in his eyes and body language when he said "gwan push me". From his actions, he was defending and taking ownership of product that was already in a bin for disposal to landfill. This was a clear indicator that he was not happy working for menzies, miserable for a better term. And his misery could not allow him to see a bin diver taking all that product for free that had a potential value of over £10k. This was clear intimidatation from the employee. He was playing the role of a security guard, when all he was is a forklift driver. And then to play that silly game of creating a fence and causing danger to a civilian is savagery. These warehouse workers are so miserable with their jobs they become bullies.
I wish you sent them a copy of this and asked them to explain themselves
It makes me so angry how companies throw away good stuff, it’s so wasteful ! Why not send it charities, schools, hospitals, anywhere but in a landfill !
