Within the scope of Turkey's Strategy 2023, the country wants to be reckoned as one of the Top 10 economies in the world. Turkey has ambitious projects to make that happen. One of which is the Istanbul Finance Centre. Just like London's Canary Wharf and New York's Wallstreet, the center aims to group some of the strongest financial institutions in Turkey.
In this video, we take a look at How the Istanbul Finance Centre will change the city's financial status, and what will its effect on the real estate landscape around the project.

Seems like there are skeptics wanting to stay away from Turkish market altogether, but it's such a beautiful country and I don't think even cities like NYC and London have that magical X factor that Istanbul has. Does everything always have to be about numbers/pragmatism? Istanbul has so much history, mystique, and culture...and historically speaking, this area was the center of civilization!
The west doesn't want it and thats why they destroyed the Ottoman empire in the worst sneaky way possible. If not the superpower of the world was Turkey right now. Thanks Erdogan he is able to make Tyrkey back in power .Turkey powerful means humanity will have real freedom and no longer slavery will exist. When the west talks bad about someone that person has to be great!
IST is amazing indeed but numbers do matter. Imagine buying a home and in the next year experiencing a financial collapse that cuts your value in half. That isn't very attractive. Or more realistically, buying a home in IST that will not have a positive CAP rate until you've paid off your mortgage. Thats the current reality.

Numbers are the only thing that matters if you’re looking at it from an investment perspective, if you want to live there then it’s a different story.
Most investors just need a place to park their capital somewhere where it can grow a decent amount and in a reasonably safe financial environment. Some people think Turkey doesn’t meet those requirements or other places may be safer or have a higher rate of return.
I personally would love to invest Istanbul and will probably do so when I have the means to

Been to Turkyie twice and the second time stayed just in the amazingly beautiful Istanbul,to admire its newest,huge and absolutely modern European and Asian parts. Though this Megalopolis is one of the most historical Worldwide,l have been fashinated about the power you feel,while visiting the Skyscrapers districts. It feels more powerful than Dubai itself and l love this great mix of culture and modern,tall,beautiful high constructions. Keep it up with the job you are doing,Turkyie! As of December, 2020 both Standard and Poor and Price Water Cooper valued Islamic Finance at $2.7 trillions globally without a central hub location, I believe IFM could attract as much as 30% or more of that considering the fact that Turkey already has strong Islamic Finance and islamic banking shariah compliance boards and number of banks and institutions based in the country.
So in my opinion this very strategic plan and development by the Turkish Gov.
Kudos to them.

İhracata gelince cumhuriyet döneminin en büyük rakamlarını yakaladık yani bu sorun biz de hep vardı ancak artık aşmalıyız . 2000 de 27 milyar dolar ihracat ,55 milyar dolar da ithalat vardı arada ki cari açık 30 milyar dolardı , 2018 de 167 milyar dolar ihracat ve 223 milyar dolar ithalat rakamlarına ulaşıldı burada ki cari açık ise 55 milyar dolar. Önceliğimiz bu cari açığı kapatmak olmalı onun da en büyük sebebi enerjidir .2000 ile bugün arasın da pek bir fark yok fakat ülke de büyük yatırımlar söz konusu yani aynı cari açığa proje yapılmış bu ülkenin yararınadır . Ben uluslararası ilişkiler ile ilgileniyorum çaldılar ,sattılar vs. bunlar sokak ağzıdır ve siyasetçi manevralarıdır uluslarası politikalar bu şekilde belirlenmez isterseniz diktatör olsun , isterseniz monarşi piyasalar sadece paraya bakar .
