That's a nice collection you have going there. I'm partial to the Lee Enfield too. I don't have nearly as many as you but I've got a few. They're a smooth action and a powerful and accurate enough round. I've got an Ishapore 2A as well. Chambered in .308 (7.62x51). Nice shooter. I'm also partial to the Mausers. I've got 3 of those. Anyway. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you. I love Enfields. I want more of them. I have 6 currently but I have owned 11 over the past few years. Sounds like you have some nice Enfields as well. I only have 1 mauser as of now. I have a Russian Capture K98.. Thanks for watching. If you get a chance, check out some of my other videos. I am always posting new ones. I would greatly appreciate it if you would subscribe to my channel. Thanks again

That is an awesome collection you have there. My favorite one has to be that Arisaka Type 38.

I bet it is, hey how often do you find 6.5x50 and 7.7x58

+Alex the Hun (Boy) Man, I see it often at gunshows, but refuse to pay $2/rd... That is ridiculous. I bought some last year for $1/rd from Grafs, but now they have gone up to like $1.50/rd....

Wow that is expensive however I would like to have a Arisaka I will have to pay for the ammo but I bet its worth it.

Very good rifle collection! I'm trying to space out my videos and I've been working on a few home projects this week. I have to check out my local antique stores. Very few military items at the auctions in my area lately. I ordered an WW1 ammo belt and then I'll finish the video when it comes. I paid $30 with shipping and it's in well used condition. Some WW1 items look to be in almost too good of condition for the age. To me it almost looks fake for the age. Thanks again for sharing! Bob

You could shoot the regular cartridge in the grenade launching Enfield, but you would only try to launch a grenade once doing that. The Garand is GI Joes rifle, I was grabbing every one I could back in the day, excellent weapon. Nice collection, keep up the good work. .30-40 Krag is something you will not find a good deal on, get a simple Lee loader kit and pack your own. Some idiot traded that Krag for a Savage Enfield? His loss, your big gain. The wandering zero on the No5 has been argued about since the war, more than 20 years shooting the No5 and I have never had a wandering zero with it. Who has mixed feelings about the SMLE? Nobody who knows them well, the British didn't build crap rifles. The Arisaka mum was ground off by order of US authorities after the war. The Japanese soldiers would deface it with the edge of the bayonet if they felt their death was a certainty and the rifle would fall into enemy hands. The vast majority of field captured rifles brought home before the end of the war had the mum intact, I know all of my veteran bringhomes from that time period have intact mums. I have one type 38 that the soldier I bought it from pulled right out of a Tokyo arsenal, they ground the mum right there in front of him. The grind still looks new.

+RockIsland1913 Wow, thanks for all the info. I am hoping to score a nice Winchester Garand one day to add to my Springfield. Yes, this guy wanted a Savage Enfield really bad. He had the Krag for sale originally and he was asking $530 for it.. But, we met up and he loved the Enfield I had so we traded rifle for rifle. Like I mentioned, I had only paid $80 for it. The Enfield I traded was overall in pretty good shape. It had some repairs to the stock and someone had put some shellac on the stock. However, the other Savage that I have is in a lot better condition. As far as, the mixed feelings on the SMLE, I met a guy a couple years ago that was selling his .303 ammo. He said that he had heard about how great the Enfield rifle was and so he bought one and tried it out but he said that it was not accurate at all and he didn't know what all the hype was about the Enfields. So he sold the rifle and then I was lucky enough to get the ammo from him... I would love to add some more Arisakas to my collection. Hopefully with the mum still intact. It sounds like you have some nice rifles yourself. Thanks man

I was collecting during the happy time after milsurps were allowed back in after 1986. I collected before then, but not until 1989-90 did we start seeing the inexpensive Garands, $40 Mosins, and so on. Prejudices from the war had many regarding the Arisaka as junk back then, I was actually given some of them for free by owners who thought it was funny that I would want them. If they remember it I am sure they are not laughing about it now. The Garand had four US makers, Springfield, Winchester, H&R, and International Harvester. The last two made them during the Korean War. Springfield's are expensive, the other three more so. I hope none of that .303 is POF stamped, Pakistan Ordinance Factory, this stuff has hard primers, it is known for hangfires in most Enfields, but is good for components, use the bullets for reloading.

+RockIsland1913 I really try to focus on rifles from 1945and earlier. I have never really wanted an H&r or IHC Garand. Too bad I missed out on all the gun deals back in the day, (I was born in 1986 lol). I can understand why people would think the Arisakas were junk back then. None of the .303 ammo was POF. I have heard about the primers as well. Thanks

Hey, I don't own any French rifles. I did own one but I sold it. I never made a video for it because I didn't have it long.
