2:45 had no idea what a hemostat was. i was just enjoying the neat little folding and then you start pulling out scissors. so many scissors. and THEN you say if you need something or other, you’ll just …”use a pair of scissors.”
    amazing video 10/10

I like how there is a bit of gold in the mandala. Nice!

Yeah, that scrunched area looks super cool. The pattern on this shirt reminds me of an expanding holographic ball of sorts. Something you would see Tony Stark manipulate in Iron Man.

Too EXCITING!! I have hemostats in transit right now (had to order and have shipped, 5 straight and 5 curve pack). This is definitely timely for me and I'm totally enjoying this!! Interesting to see how you dye with the clips. Thanks Angie!!! You so ROCK!

It seems like quite a lot of dye gets wasted, I think there could be ways to rescue some of it. Off the top of my head I'm thinking: foil around the hemostat area, using the melted ice/rinse water for either water for black dyes or freezing and using just the ice cubes later for a random pastelly tye die.
Shirt looks great as always :)

There is some dye that gets wasted. I've placed items under the rack before and used the runoff or muck to dye them. However since the shirt has soda ash in it, the muck won't work very well after a few hours because once the dye and soda ash mix the dye will start to react.

      @@FunEndeavors ah, that makes sense.
When I get some dyes I'm gonna experiment with putting crumpled coloured shirts under the rack then after it's set doing a reverse dye, I think it could bring out some interesting patterns. I dunno though as I only have experience with reverse dying atm.
