Hey bro I cloned a website and now I am opening that website code in vs code editor but after doing the necessary editing only text is changing not the images. Like I am putting my image URL on the place of website image URL but after saving it and opening it with live server the preview is showing me the images of cloned website not mine and in inspect element it is showing the image code of cloned website not mine why. I am trying from 6 hours and nothing is works for me. Will you plz tell me how can I change the images and edit it.
To change the image you have to locate the image path first the one you want is o change, after you have located it upload you own image on same path with same name, once you do it correctly it will reflect.

It works on many website but why I say this is that if you want to clone a Website that has payment gateways on it e.g e-commerce website and so on, and again cloning a large website I don't advice that is better to get a developer to create that exact website for you that one will be better, but if you are looking for a web developer am up for it I can help you to create any website of your choice.
Thanks, the video was helpful. You didn't give info on how to replace the image after viewing it at the end of the video. When I click edit it gives a corrupted page. Kindly notify me on how to replace the image.
First you need to locate the file of the image after you locate it, upload your own and replace it with the previous one by renaming it.
After the in some cases where you try to check it, it may not reflect on the web page you need to clean your browser

It depends on how large the website is for e.g if you want to clone a website like Amazon it will take hours for it to finish

You can copy the frontend and many others pages attach to it but you can copy the database which is the backend
I'm getting error 404. I copied it well i only changed the initial domain name to my new domain and none of the pages open it seems like the website that i copied was WordPress website and I'm using Public-html to upload file pls what can i do to get the site running ?
If your domain name is Connected to your hosting name properly it should work kindly note that for u to be getting 404 which means there’s no files on the root domain

You can't see the admin dashboard because is the database so you can't clone database you have to create your own backend

@@xanderblog So, after I copied the website, the navbar wasn't showing up although the source code from page sources seemed to be the same, and also quite a few of the images were blurry, which is maybe fro ma transition effect until they fully load
