    How long did it take for you to receive the results email after your interview?

      It was about 2 months. It can take longer especially during holiday season.

      Everything is based on the competences so that is the main focus.

    How do you do a Chartered qualification is it via university or is it an online thing?

    • @ThinkEngineeringHD
      @ThinkEngineeringHD  5 месяцев назад +1

      You need a masters level degree in engineering so this is via a University. This can be in person or online. If the qualification is not accredited you need to have it assessed by the institution before you go ahead with the chartership application.

      @@ThinkEngineeringHD I plan to go to Universiry of Bristol or UWE in the future can it be done via a university you attended or you need to summit stuff to IET to gain the qualification and sit the exam at your university?

    • @ThinkEngineeringHD
      @ThinkEngineeringHD  5 месяцев назад

      @@reemie786 Chartership is usually attainable some years AFTER you get a degree qualification. The masters degree does not have to be a UK degree but it must be either accredited or you can go through an assessment of the qualification by the institution where you are applying for chartership. This means if you already have the engineering degree qualification at masters level you don't need to do another one but your focus should be on getting the right experience to demonstrate the required competences.

      @@ThinkEngineeringHD a CEng most requires both BS/BEng or MS/MEng but how do you have to sit the exam if you have the things needed like work experience and etc?

    • @ThinkEngineeringHD
      @ThinkEngineeringHD  5 месяцев назад

      @@reemie786 If you have a BEng and MEng and the required experience contact the institution directly or check their websites for specifics. With IMechE there is no examination but you completely the application and have an interview. It might be a bit different with other institutions but the basics are the same.
