I was born in September 1965. I was a teenager at the Oddyessy on Beverly Blvd. In Los Angeles dancing after midnight during a hot summer night! So happy and this song comes on!
I'm born Seattle in 1970, moved to LA in 1988. I just missed the Oddessy by a few years, how I wish I could have experienced it like my friends tell me!!!
Thank You for this New Romantic Cee Farrow video upload! When Chris walked into the Club (The Bitter End, The Apartment, Club Odyssey) followed by his "massive shoulder pads", you easily knew you were in the hippiest place on Earth!
@@coryhenson3782 Agreed! By then, Chris and April already had their "Sequel Club" to The Bitter End going. That one was called "The Apartment". One of their Roster DeeJays #DjBrucePerdew still spins today at Clubs like Club Blue Mondays and Bar Sinister. I handled the tee shirt production of Chris' Bondage T-Shirts while his woman April sold them to high end stores along Melrose Ave. We still have "Strike-Off" Paper Prints available to Fetish Collectors.
I own this 12 inch single, but I can't get my hands on it easily, so THANKS for posting this. I was working at a record store when this was released, and we had a large DJ trade at the store. I had every one of the DJ's that came in, purchase this record to spin at their clubs, and I spun it at mine too. Great tune and great memories.
Ivana Zepeda Rocshire Records got in trouble with the law in 1984 or 1985 so that's why. The U.S. Feds got all of their master tapes after Shirley (the wife of the Rocshire Records CEO) stole millions of dollars from her job at an airport, along with him.

I missed this wonderful example of the new wave era first time around, it was only released in North America.
I miss the 80s New Wave scene. So glad I managed to hang on to all of my 45s, Lps, 12" singles, cassettes, etc.. Great memories
Dude was so cool. One of the few American artists that could compete in style and fashion with the likes of Duran Duran.
Thank you for Cee Farrow! Literally my favorite. He was the GLORIOUS!!!
I used to love seeing him around town. He was equally stunning in person. I was too awestruck to talk to him ❤
Did you live in WeHo in the 80's? I moved there in 1988 and worked at the Hard Rock Cafe

Fabulous! When I moved to WeHo in October 1988 as a teen, people talked about Cee Farrow like he was an A list celebrity. I'll never forget that.

Wow!!!
Omg. Thank you for posting this awesome song.
YES! Great memories!
Peaked at No. 82 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in 1983, Farrow’s only hit.
Not his only hit.
@@v-town1980 Hot 100 wise it was.
This was on rotation on the one, the only, WLBS 102.7 Mount Clemens, Michigan. "Detroit's only new music station."
Michigan? Lol!

@@bigguys45s29 Always the bitch!
This track is pitched a bit too faster than the original 12" mix
