Ryan, a man who has been living on the street for 30 years plays the piano outside in downtown Edmonton, in Churchill Square, no one taught him to play, he just could.

This is my remix of the original. I re-recorded the whole song just like Ryan did live, and I added some other instruments to it.
I also fixed the Vertical issue.
This was all with the help of Erika. There are some other music videos on my page and some of them have Erika singing in them.

Should be teaching kids in our schools. So much talent out their going to waist.. People pass us by everyday and we never get the chance to hear there stories or see there talent light up the world. Some of the most epic talents and stories are not being told or seen or heard. And sadly they pass from this world without ever being noticed.

I can not stop crying seeing a talented man is wasted. I wish have that chance to help all of them. But I will one day. I promise.

They are much more technically accomplished but just as a melody even they would have a hard time outperforming this homeless fellow consistently. It just shows how much power music has to surprise us...and also how much power a human being has to surprise us...there is beauty and surprise even in the most unlikely and inhospitable environments...
Anyone that plays like that should be given a job somewhere! A rare talent! God bless you man!

The song is somewhat relative to his life. It's so beautiful and touching.
the society we live in/support created this man's situation. If your not disgusted your not paying attention! Truly given gifts, he deserve's better imho.
You need to find every video of this guy playing and create a tribute song for him with all his additions and alterations to make a whole song. Me and probably MANY others will pay to have him listen to it in its entirety.

Finding out this video was made by the same person who put together the "What is addiction?" video has given me goosebumps beyond belief! Dude, that Gabor Maté video found me the night after I prayed for a way to help the homeless(which I do weekly) with addictions. I've watched & shared it many times, I now have the book "In the Realm of Hungry Ghosts" which has been so helpful to my work. I found Ryan Arcand's video lastnight, but I just found this one & all I can say is wow! Thank you for everything :)
