I see people always say that we idolize those chicks because of there sexy outfits. That in the older days it was talent. Well here I see Glennis who can sing like an Angel and we still talk about the sax players legs. It is so sad. Really. If you had said the sax player played her butt off that is fine. But all we get is how fine she looks.
The video editing is aggravating. Pick a camera shot and let it establish- this is like watching a 12 year old play a video game. Ping- pong visuals constantly means no style is established...
Cowell paid her to go over to boost the ratings - and the votes, and that is exactly what she did, but she made it very plain she did not want to win. So as is usual with all those "shows" the votes were rigged so as she didn't.
Both Candy and Glennis don't need the likes of Cowell and all his money grabbing cronies, - she is not a 'newcomer' to this business. So whilst it has certainly put her (Glennis) more in the 'spotlight' in the US, - (she's toured before including Las Vegas), I think you will find she will be more popular in Europe now. No doubt she will 'cross the pond', but I can't see her making the US her base.
