Reminds me of the day Tampa saw its first Concorde and I was one of the 35,000 people at the airport to witness it. We were not disappointed. Most beautiful plane ever. Nice video, thanks for sharing!
Technically not the fastest, as TU144's higher titanium content allowed it to reach (but not sustain) a higher top speed than Concorde.... but still the most magnificent!!
I flew several times across the Atlantic by Concorde between LHR and JFK in the 90's, and lastly in 2003.................................I am blessed I truly know that.
Another example of an aircraft that the American people loved and respected for its speed and sheer beauty but the corporates and Government vested interests did everything they could to stop. And nearly succeeded. In later years the American people took the A380 to their hearts for the sheer size and engineering marvel it was but again absolutely no support from US airlines. And they said there was no market for a 500 seat aircraft from East to West coast and back?
Concorde had a growing business for such chartered flights. BA said Concorde provided 25% Net of all their profits, and rising. A great shame she wasn't allowed to live. BUT---Air France WERE losing money, and due to a Agreement years before, if one company stopped flying Concorde, the other would too.@@nimrodgreenie
Thanks! I was 12 with my dad, we came to see this. What a great memory

The icon that drew crowds wherever she went.... truly amazing.❤

The most beautiful, powerful and fastest passenger airliner ever to exist. When Concorde came to town people had to look.

I’ve been looking for a video of this for years!
I have too! I was on top of the Fishburne tower and it flew directly over us! It was awesome!
Great video! Thanks for sharing.

Makes me proud to be British...and I hope that gentleman found 'London as pretty as it could be' when he got there.
Great video. I flew on that bad boy. Stunning
The noise is never reproduced. It was awesome.
silky smooth landing, props to the pilot !
I hope the great sound is good, without the wind.!!!
I remember that day. Talk of the town
Nice video footage 😊😊
It still looks like it's from the future.
THE ENGINES SOUND ROUGH
Windows were plenty big enough
Hah, my wedding day!
Tripods are evil
A beautiful machine. What isn't told often is how the British design was used, and MI5 gave the French plans to the Russians 🤣🤣🤣.
what was the sourse of that claim ? I know BAC in Bristol UK, claimed that there were two Soviet spies who stole Concorde Plans
wow. what was it doing there?
it was a planned trip to london through a local travel agent group
