Do those stove fans that rotate off the stove heat actually work. we take a look here and test them link to fans... bit.ly/6Blades... bit.ly/4Blades...
they use peltier cells and I think you could use a couple custom "stove fans" to force more air inside your heat scavenging tubes. This would have the added benefit to not extract to much heat before being at operating temperature. You might also be able to "turbo" the secondary inlet that way too :P
You might try connecting two pipes or hoses to the bottom (cold) tube intakes. Run them 3-5m away to draw cold air into the tubes and heat it. Should more evenly distribute the heat from the stove…
Hi Loz!! Place the fans with the blades over the the top of the stove, that way the incoming cooler air keeps the heat sink cooler and the air gets more heat off the stove top! :) Cheers Mike in Tassie!
We have one on our Esse stove and it works pretty good. But when you open the door and you sometimes get the very light ash floating around the fan blows it even further away 😂. How is your riser holding up Loz 👍
Hi Darren, yep that fine ash is a pain not a problem in my dusty shop though haha, riser holding up great mate no change in it since it was built. Cheers.
Hello Loz, Merry Christmas. Your stove rocks !
Thank you all the best to you 👍
Nice Loz! Maybe a slow ceiling fan to push the heat down from the ceiling?
Yes but I like these no power needed to move the air mate 👍

Bought my friends one that has a pair of 4 blade for their wood stove, they say it really gets their living room warm in the morning
Yes they really do spread the heat around 👍

cheers Mike yea ill give that a try mate.
You can get a Stirling engine stove fan, think you'd like it!
Thanks will take a look at that 👍
Loz, Merry Christmas.
Thanks Joe all the best mate.
I had one for my stove for years. It works great. As for fans i prefer less blade bigger blades. I have a 3 blade floor fan that kicks alot of air.
Cheers mate. 👍

Is it some sort of chemical reaction that makes the fan go round
these ones are powered by peltier cells
you can find some using sterling engine but they're much more costly (and noisy)
Think its some kind of witchcraft Mate 😁
