UPDATE: A reference is made to a left brake issue in the video. An experimental build has been provided by the developer and problem fixed. I want to thank both X-Aviation and the developers for their great support. Version 1.08 has been released and the aircraft is pretty stable now. A follow up video is in the making. A full tutorial video will be coming soon.
You should pin your comment. Just reading that convinced me to go get it now. The video was of great quality as usual, but I feared I would somehow get the same issue as you did, at videos end. Luckily I read the comment section and scrolled down and found this comment. Thanks.
Hello Q8, I cannot find anywhere in the TBM Hostart UI Guide or Quickstart Guide a way to import a SimBrief TBM 900 X-plane .fms flight plan. I exported one into the X-Plane Output/FMS folder but I cannot insert it in the G1000. Any thoughts?
@@ripper8771 The documents are located in the aircraft documentation folder. Go to Aircraft/X-Aviation/TBM900/Documentation. As for the Flight plan, you will have to manually enter it. There is no way to load it automatically at this time.
@@Q8Pilot Hello Q8, I was able to export the TBM900 SIibrief Flight Plan to Output/FMS and it loaded nicely :) I just had to make sure the .fms was in th folder before the plane was launched :)
I enjoy your reviews. In my case I had a different experience upon release almost no issues for me other than FPS (optimized now) and some minor issues which were quickly resolved. So i think the major issues like you experienced may not have affected most users and of course the one who were affected will understandably voice concern. I am overjoyed about what this plane demonstrated to all developers what is possible. I do agree it seems to be a trend with many developers (all games and sim genre) that the actual releases looks more like a beta which is troubling. Some developers have a reduced cost "early release" which may have made more sense here a few months ago.
I really enjoy this aircraft! And it shows the way for future airplane modelling. And even if there are issues, I like to be the "early adopter" and support the efforts that have been put into this.
I purchased this aircraft today (v. 1.0.8) and just completed my first flight from KSRQ to KATL. The aircraft performed flawlessly! On my system, FPS was consistently between 30-40. It was extremely easy to handle on the very first flight. I'm looking forward to many, many hours with this plane.
Enjoyed the review. The updates are moving quickly to address many of the items brought up in your review, but I understand your feeling that they should have been caught before $65 sale to the public.I am willing to see past all that because of the revolutionary aircraft that they have designed. I'm sure in the future this will be a milestone for Xplane aircraft design. I watch your channel because I respect your opinion and appreciate the fact that you call a spade a spade.Keep up the good work.
Thank you for making the video. I disagree on your opinion on the sounds. I feel that the sounds are genuine from the original real life aircraft! I think this is as close to a living breathing airplane model as you can get. Well worth the price of this software!
The price is well worth it, engine sounds are great, but the inside sounds of the switches knobs....etc were not convincing for me. Thanks for watching my friend!
Really looking forward to this Q8/Osamah. I have been eagerly waiting for you to do a Video on this plane. For the better part of 6 months, I have in fact wanted to say thank you for your fantastic channel. Your videos alone are what got me into X Plane. I am sure I must have chalked up many hundred views by now. Thanks again, I remain a huge fan.
I feel like this is a very honest and critical review of this aircraft. We as buyers of payware aircraft should not be okay with paying $65 and then have to deal with issues like these. This is still a very nice plane that offers many features and I enjoy it very much. This plane can only get better as time goes on.
Well said David, and I kept stressing the fact that this is something we see for the first time, and that this is a wonderful aircraft. Thanks for watching and for your support.
The IXEG 737 and PMDG DC6 were simularly super-hyped before release and then met with a list of problems on release as I remember it. Both were sorted in the end (although PMDG went a bit quiet after that). Thanks for the review. I love some of the features on the aircraft. If it was a piston aircraft I'd be buying it very soon I think. I hope it does well.
I just can't stop flying this plane. Honestly the first GA plane in x-plane which actually makes me feel like I am flying. So immersive and engaging. The wear and tear and repair and maintenance costs really makes you have a feeling of ownership. Honestly was worth the money.
There are too many developers that release a new plane that simply do not work. I have given up on some of them because of their lack of care. Thank you for being open and honest. Another great video!
Thank u for your video and for expressing your opinions even if it upsets some. Although I’ve had some ctd’s with this plane it really has become one of my favorites. The icing, radar, synthetic vision, rain effects, unforgiving of sloppy flying is what I love about it. I hope you get to enjoy it now with the new fixes. Look forward to your next video.
It's good to see an honest reporting of the problems encountered. I commend you for that. Developers should be aware that they should not launch a product without thorough testing. I agree with many of the comments that it should have had an early release like DCS at a disocunted price. I was rewady to purchase the plane but held back. It makes me uneasy to spend the amount of money they are charging with quality control still a work in progress. A real shame. I am on the sidelines for now.
However, I do have some advice for Q8Pilot, when you do your turns with rudder, you NEED to watch your ball as it's out of center, which means you are skidding the plane and that is not good for the airframe. You can see the ball in the bottom of the backup attitude window above the PFD, and in the PFD the white line below the turn indicator's triangle is all the ball. When it is not lined up right under the triangle, then you are out of center.
After almost 2 years, what do you think about this aircraft? Is there others bugs? Is it worth 65 $? I'm in doubt if I have to buy this or the AirfoilLabs King Air 350.
I'm not sure about the 900 series, but the 850 will taxi that fast in real life even at idle thrust. With the 850 it's normal to taxi around in beta to manage your speed and prolong the life of the brakes. In fact, when I taxi the 850, I don't even touch the brakes while taxiing unless the aircraft is completely stopped. You can bring it to a stop in beta and then hold the brakes to set the parking brake.
Your honesty is always appreciated Q8. Would be good to hear why you are not so happy with the sounds and I look forward to your next review on this aircraft once this has been updated.
I was also looking at this aircraft but thanks to your review I'll wait till they have resolved these issues. What about the G1000 complete with Synthetic Vision? The synthetic vision was not part of your review. Were you able to implement it? Thanks for all your great reviews.
Good honest review. It would also bug me if there were so many issues on day 1. The price is OK; there's a lot of work here. It is certainly a step ahead in aircraft simulation. The wear and tear section is simply amazing. The question I have is whether such complex aircraft has too much drag on fps. In conclusion, very informative video and kudos to the developers for pushing simulation ahead. Criticisms stimulate creativity and development.
To taxi at normal speed you need to assign reverse thrust to a button. When you press the button you can move the throttle to Taxi Idle and you will taxi at normal speeds.
Hi Hi Q8Pilot, yes i have been flying the baby quite a bit in & out of off beat airports...the performance on this aircraft is really something...i was impressed...all the detailing throughout the whole plane is really fantastic...beautiful scenery..you handled that landing well...very good video
Thanks for the honest review. I thought long and hard about this one as the price is so high but think now I'll definitely hold off. Perhaps if they ever have a 50% off sale. :-)
to brake without brakes... enter beta mode with default key binding Forward Slash " / " then pull the power lever back past flight idle ...and you won't be having any overheated brake issues.
I guess I got lucky because I haven't had a single issue so far. Everytime there's a new update and I read the update notes I think "that's an issue? I haven't seen that yet" but I'm not complaining lol. I'm curious as to why I've had zero issues and so many others have had so many.
Fantastic Airplane !!! however, if im not doing something wrong its very difficult to control the ground speed while taxing. Besides that, it is very challeging and fun.
Very helpful review. Appreciate your honesty. It looks like a diamond in the rough. Would like to point out, parenthetically, that X-Aviation and the developers represent a comparatively small enterprise and teething problems are to be expected. Every purchase I have made through them and even from other, larger enterprises I regard as an investment and remind myself to be patient. They will back the product and be responsive and the issues will get resolved. Thanks,
@@Q8Pilot Really?? Are you not worried about thermals? It's the only concern of mine and I have a Thermaltake 360 AIO. Kinda stopping me pulling the trigger. Why 9900k over the 9700k by the way?? Same performance just cheaper??
Great video. I did not know that Hotstart are the ones who created BetterPushback and the Saab 340A. This plane must REALLY be good then. I own the TBM 850 but I hope this 900 from HotStart is better. Thanks.
i noticed that the headset in the right side of the cockpit is working but how is it made like is this a feature of x plane that i can just take a headset on and it will be more quiet?
Ok, thanks for the update, I think a follow up is needed as the tone of your voice is more negative than necessary throughout the video. The quality of your videos is always great Osamah, but this bothered me a bit and reading through the comments, I wasn't the only one. I agree with you that beta testing should sort out all kinds of quirks and problems, but basically it's not uncommon even for big players like PMDG to issue extensive updates quite soon after release. The tutorial looks very promising by the way, how nice to keep it onboard and in-plane.
I would have probably if I was testing this some 20 years ago =) I am a little older and wiser now I guess hehe. Thanks for watching my friend, appreciate it.
Thank you, very nice review! I 100% agree with you on the sounds. Something just seems lacking and not up to par with other premier XP and P3D soundpacks. The sounds need to be more powerful. Watch any real TBM900 startup videos and you can tell the difference. Also the ground roll sounds I do not like. Other than that, a superb aircraft no doubt. I asked about the sounds to a live streamer and he was reluctant to endorse them as being great as well so you are not the only one.
The sounds were recorded by the dev when he flew from Europe to Texas, with his sound recording equipment to record a real TBM 900. I'm very interested to know who the live streamer was and the context of the question and reluctance to respond. A link and a time stamp would also be helpful. The sounds were all fully approved by the person who owns the one we used for development.
A plane developed with this complexity makes the testing equally more complex. I know the developer is highly skilled with excellent development techniques. A lot of special functionality has been implemented, and functionality to overcome some of XPlanes bad functions and missing features. It has been tested quite a lot over a long period, but taking all users very different setups, is simply not possible (btw. a number of issues are actually misuse of the plane ;-) ). I really don't see any negative in this release that is done. Sound is very realistic. It is not over exaggerated as Carenado sounds (with is then unrealistic sounds). This is a must buy plane if you want realistic plane handling in anyway or stick with the C172....
Is it normal for the prop to slowly rotate while sitting cold and dark on the apron? Anyone notice that it's rotating while Q8 is discussing the features (while sitting in the cockpit)? Edit: maybe the tie-down isn't attached?
What about x-enviro 1.09 you saying that is worth the money($70), but it's not working properly, actually it's not flyable. This aircraft works great and looks great and it's worth the money!
@@Q8Pilot you were saying that considering the price of this aircraft there was lack of testing. At least it's being updated not like xenviro. Xenviro released 1.08 in alpha version and selling it for $70 and you at the end of that video are saying it's really worth buying. And people buying it and then regrets because it's garbage. Sorry I really wanted to say that to you.
@@Q8Pilot Start watching this video from 13:00. i'm just saying there are two product reviews xenviro and tmb 900. Xenviro plenty of bugs no uptades worth buying for $70 and now about TMB 900 you are saying well for $65 should be less bugs, more testing before release.
I think the price is very cheap for this add on and yet people complain about it but don’t complain when they buy 120+ usd on pmdg p3D products... also the sounds are top notch, how can you say that there are average ?
The price is certainly worth it. The details and the deep simulation warrants the price for sure. The sounds are ok in my opinion but not great. That's my personal opinion though.
@@AquaStevae i just understand that you get what you paid for. you only have 5K for a car, you'll only get a second hand twingo, you have 1M+, you can get a ferrari. Same thing for fligth sim, you don't want to spend to much, go and buy aerosoft aircraft, you something better, you gotta buy more, that's how life is
@@CMBelite-FR That is an EXTREMELY over-simplified explanation of your flawed reasoning. First, you are comparing apples to oranges. Second, it's not just about quality, as I've paid $35 for the Airfoillab's 172, and it's as quality as any aircraft just about made. It's about comparing value to value. This aircraft while being an excellent aircraft, cannot do all of the things that the entire sim can do. It doesn't have the man hours, high end thinking nor the expense put into it that was put into XP11. Yet, it cost MORE than this entire sim. You have to think in terms of modern economics, not just a blanket statement about expensive things versus cheap things. That is extremely shallow thinking on the level of a five year old. There's more to it than just is it better than other similar products or not. Charging five dollars more, or maybe even seven or eight might have been called for, per the level of thinking and ingenuity, man hours and product function. You can buy most good planes for $25-$35 dollars. So charging $30 dollars MORE than all these other planes is TOO HIGH for what it is. Again, I love it, and think it's an excellent product. But that doesn't take away from the empirical point that it's OVER-PRICED.
I’ve been watching this aircraft for 6 months before it’s release, how ? By watching the beta testing team at work.... most of them streamed it live on twitch, so telling the dev he should have had a beta testing team is kind of harsh.
Some fair comments in the first half of the video. But the fact that you do not know about the tablet click spot, not switching on the AP/Trims and not setting correct trim on TO shows to me that you have not done sufficient research before posting a review. This add-on is very closely simulated to the real aircraft and therefore the little details matter and not getting it right will probably lead to bad experiences.
I think I have given this aircraft justice in terms of credit for how it depicts the real aircraft. Comments made about issues, and testing etc are also fair comments. That fact that you didn't like them does not make them any less fair than the positive ones. The Left Toe break issue was a bug and was fixed and that is explicitly mentioned in the pinned comment. This is a First Impression/Review video hence it will capture my initial impressions and review of some parts of the aircraft.
This is a premier video. A new feature by RUclips. It allows me to interact with you all via live chat similar to a stream during the first time the video is viewed.
@@Q8Pilot I don't doubt that. I like analog instruments more to stare at. Same thing with new cars. Good old speedometer and other gauges are replaced with one flat screen :( but that's the future I guess.
Developers used to plan the cost of testing in the projects budget but now they simply don't, they just sell the software as an early acces hype and use their customers to test the software. What if you go to a car garage and buy a brand new car, you get it deleivered and it doesn't even start, you have to contact the manufacturer and they say "we are working on it and we will let you know ASAP" then you wait for weeks for updates, your car is parked in front of your house and you take a taxi. Software is a product like a car and when you get it delivered you want to use it. Just my opinion.
Not sure if you live under a rock but this aircraft has being tested and streamed by around 20 people and has also been streamed live on twitch by those people for over a year now. Releasing software to 1000's of people all with different machines will of course cause issues. Hotstart has released 8 updates in 6 days go find a dev that would do that? No you cant so cut them some slack!
@@ramberto7785 I am not sure what is upsetting many folks out there. The testing was simply not enough or wasn't done properly. That's is my opinion which I am entitled to just like you are entitled to yours. I have given a lot of praise for the developers and for the aircraft. What I don't get is why all this drama around my personal views. I think you made your point clear that you don't agree with my review which I totally respect. Please try to respect mine as well. Thank you!
I was a software engineer and I can tell you that software is not like a car (hardware). I coud give you some reasons why is simple not posible in the PC Flight simulation market to have finished and completely polished products. It is just the price we have to pay for this hobby. If you can not stand it, you’d better look for another hobby.
Probably the aircraft is good but x aviation stuff is usually defective and to be honest incomplete a good example is ixeg. I would have purchased this but the developers chose the wrong store. The xaviation guys just can't accept criticism. So I regret to say this but they won't get my money.
@@leadingedgesimulations7695 Good in that case please provide the required fix and update for an aircraft which has been there for quite some time now. Even you know we should have recieved it long back. This delay is just unacceptable. Its completely upto the company to maintain customer trust but its not only me there are many who believe x aviation has failed at it. I just hope that changes. IXEG still incomplete in so many different ways, the new aircraft looks promising but the way the release took place it seems it will be left in the middle. Deep down I know even this effort is futile.
@@FSXXtreme Let's slow down a little. I don't have anything to do with IXEG. But you made a blanket statement that all X-Aviation add ons are defective and incomplete. Incomplete is very subjective. I made the Saab, and I made it for X Plane 10. It was finalized half way through the XP10 run. We've given free updates for XP11, even though that was never planned. The TBM has features never before seen in a flight sim. To expect a flawless release is unreasonable. We were criticized for the CTD's and performance and we responded to as many criticisms as we could and released 8 updates in 1 week. I don't think any developer has done that. Maybe 8 updates in 6 months. Some well known developers do 3 updates in as many years. We now have an almost stable release across the majority of users PC's with performance at 90% of the default C172. So, all I ask is that you please don't make comments that are untrue. We do our best, and for a 2 man team, I think we did pretty good on the TBM.
@@leadingedgesimulations7695 I do like the TBM but a little skeptical about buying it the sole reason being my past experience with x aviation. I dont own the saab but I have heard great things about it. Hopefully the current issues will be resolved. By the way I really dont mind paying for updates too. Just when I'm paying I expect it to be nothing short of flawless but I really hope the TBM lives up to the expected standards and if that happens I'll buy it. I just dont wanna spend money on something which could be a hit or miss.
@@FSXXtreme Scepticism is good. Especially where your money is concerned. By all means, wait for a full review before even considering getting the TBM. Whether it's from Osamah or someone else. I was a little disappointed in this first look, but that's what it is. A first look. Hopefully, his next video will be a little better where a full review is concerned. Whatever you decide, just try and enjoy the community. It's supposed to be fun.
FIRST!! IM FIRST!!! OMG IM FIIIIIIRRRRRRST!!!!!! THe sun must have came out from the east today how am I FIRST? HELLO FELLOW AVIATION ENTHUSIASTS! STAY AWESOME!!!! :D
It looks amazing but it is too expensive imo... a lot of people can't justify pay $64... including me! If they had priced it a bit cheaper they would have got more sales, meaning they are still making a ton of money!
The aircraft is finished, but obviously needs some work. It is a very complex aircraft. I am inclined to call it a "Study level" of the TBM 900. It has got issues, but they are being worked out in a very swift fashion. You will certainly enjoy it. Just wait a couple of weeks before you buy.
You are absolutely right. Couldn't even move from the apron area due to the issues I had with this plane. So I shared my experience with you all in a first impressions video. Another video will follow now that I have time to actually learn and enjoy the plane. Hence my comments in the video.
Sorry, I think you were completely wrong to do a review so early after release, There were obvious faults on your side that cased issues. As for your brakes issue I bought on day 1 and have not had any issue that you were suffering. You have ended with a negative recommendation for buyers which is completely wrong of you. You have built up a reputation of being one of the leaders of you tube reviewer's, but you have let yourself down with your comments in this review. You should download the latest release and do another that does not reveal any faults, unless you make them yourself. I have the latest and no faults found. I fully recommend people buy the product.
I don't think there anything wrong with my review. Looks like you didn't read my pinned comment and chosen to ignore all the good things I said about this aircraft. Also I never said dont buy. I simply recommended that folks would wait until a stable release is available which it is now. Hope things are clear for you now.
First of all, he was NOT wrong to do a review right after release. IF you had the slightest clue of what you were writing about, you'd realize that there is an Alpha test phase and a Beta test phase BEFORE release. And IF the devs don't have it together by the time they go to retail release, then they released it TOO SOON!!!! You finish your work BEFORE you release, and before you charge twice the price of MOST other aircraft being offered, or you suffer poor reviews. That is reasonable and logical. YOU, on the other hand, are the one that is completely wrong, and your comments are absolutely moronic!!!! Do you know what equipment he is using? Do you know that you are using the SAME equipment he is using? Just because you haven't experienced any problems does NOT mean there aren't problems!!! He gave a real and honest review, and for you to use such pathetic il-logic to admonish him is beyond imbecilic. Your thinking is shallow and your reasoning and deductions are lame at best. Try to think before you type. I'm sure it will be a new experience for you.
You are completely wrong! They spent lots of time testing this aircraft. The aircraft went through many months of Beta Testing with many different people testing the aircraft including real world pilots of the TBM 900. I think that you are very limited in your knowledge of this aircraft and xplane!. This is a real BAD review.
You've got to stop editing your videos when things go wrong. It always looks like your hiding your inefficiencies as a Sim pilot. It's not the first time you've done it. I've seen you do it several times. One of yours I watched recently when you messed up the glideslope and went way above it and then edited to show you back on it. I can spot the quick edits you make very easily. It's human to err!
I edit videos to save time not to hide anything. You should see my first video on this aircraft and you will see that when there is a mess up I intentionally show it so people can learn from my mistakes and or decide if they want to invest in the payware. My words of wisdom to you my friend, ask questions to understand intentions and never jump to conclusions. This advice comes from a 45 year old man. Not that old but quite experienced =)
Too bad xaviation is crap. This is a decent plane although overpriced, sad to see developers losing costumers just because they are stupid and offer it only through xaviation which is run by a man-child. I'm surprised you dared to criticize this plane. Others would be banned for this already.
I honestly don't think the aircraft is overpriced. If you consider the depth of simulation, you will immediately realize that. Consider a Carenado aircraft at USD 34 with the REP package for another 20, you end with USD 54. For all the features in this aircraft + the depth of systems simulation, it is about right in terms of price.
I think you should remove this review, as the aircraft was nearly perfect upon release... most updates have been small changes that an OCD (a compliment, not an insult) developer has noticed, or performance improvements in what was an already excellent performing aircraft. Also, as for sounds... check your X-Plane sound settings, if they are not in their default positions, you are not hearing the sounds as intended, these sounds are nearly perfect in comparison to the real aircraft.
Thanks for watching! No I will not be removing this review. The updates where to address CTDs, and many other issues that were not minor. Please check the forums. The engine sounds are great, but the sound of the switches, flaps, etc are not up to the standard in my opinion. When you say the aircraft was perfect upon release, you make me wonder why it was crashing on my machine and I was not able to fly it.
Everything sounds exactly as it should, again I think maybe your X-Plane sound settings are incorrect. It's not a 30 year old aircraft with clunky switches, the sounds are minute... even the flaps can barely be heard with the engine off.
This is a poor review, featuring too much of "enjoy the flight, folks" and "everything's looking good", as if I am a passenger. Too much concentration on the autopilot, too little detail, and an awful landing which told me that Q8 only found out how sensitive this aircraft is when he tried to control it after landing. He got his engine management badly wrong and almost forgot to select TO flap. Way too little description of hands-on handling and needless waffle about how he tries so hard to be objective. I've bought this aeroplane despite the so-called "review".
UPDATE: A reference is made to a left brake issue in the video. An experimental build has been provided by the developer and problem fixed. Thanks for watching my friend.
Hotstart deserve DEV of 2018 amazing add-on and the 8 updates that they released with 6 days after release of this aircraft! Simply Stunning
It is becoming one of my favorites as well. Incredible fun and realism.
I prefer 8 updates in 6 days than leaving the job unfinished weeks later after update 1.03
You mean AF King Air 350??
Thanks for the update on this aircraft....another great video to put on sim-outhouse X-Plane forum!
Thank you very much my friend.
@@Q8Pilot You make awesome videos and they are extremely informative!
Beautiful aircraft and another great review for x-plane community.
Thanks captain!
Thank you for your loyalty and support my friend. Appreciate it.
Best Xplane Reviews out there, Thank you!
Good review. I'm surprised at all the initial problems.
Thanks for the video.
It is all sorted now =) Thanks for watching!
Sir, your comments are always very important for us...thanks and congrats!!!
Thanks for watching my friend!
Aircraft model developer need feedbacks about bugs and other failures so the way the react quickly is to be honored and not simply criticized!
Constructive criticism is a bliss. If you can't take it you will not excel or improve. Be a little open minded my friend.
Thanks for the video :)
Thanks,
I am absolutely with you on all counts there. Thanks for watching the video!
Southampton is gorgeous isn't it? Loving it...
Hi mate, great video as always..
Are you tempted by the 9700k or 9900k?
I will be getting the 9900K soon.
Thanks.
It is an incredibly accurate aircraft and immense fun to fly. You will enjoy it I am sure.
Hotstart (Saso) developped better push back and Goran from LES did the 3D model but Saso don’t have anything to do with the saab340
Are you adsolutely sure you don’t have a button somewhere applying the left toe brake ? The park brake red CAS message was on all your flight time.
It was a bug and it has been fixed.
Waiting for this review. Quick question though, can you undock the glass cockpit to a second or third screen on this product ? Thank you.
Yes but you need a powerful graphic card to enjoy a smooth experience.
Thank you very much for this quick answer.
i noticed that the headset in the right side of the cockpit is working but how is it made like is this a feature of x plane that i can just take a headset on and it will be more quiet?
Ok, thanks for the update, I think a follow up is needed as the tone of your voice is more negative than necessary throughout the video. The quality of your videos is always great Osamah, but this bothered me a bit and reading through the comments, I wasn't the only one. I agree with you that beta testing should sort out all kinds of quirks and problems, but basically it's not uncommon even for big players like PMDG to issue extensive updates quite soon after release. The tutorial looks very promising by the way, how nice to keep it onboard and in-plane.
The follow up video has been posted.
@@Q8Pilot Thanks....!
You handle the toe brake issue very calmly. I would've lost my cool a long time ago.
I would have probably if I was testing this some 20 years ago =) I am a little older and wiser now I guess hehe. Thanks for watching my friend, appreciate it.
@@Q8Pilot 74 and 78 not that far apart ;-)
@@Q8Pilot it seems that the birth pains have subsided, so I scratched my itch and bought this yesterday. Already loving it!
Very Importent Review. Thx for that. 👍
Thank you for an honest review!
Thanks for watching my friend!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and for watching the video Andrew!
Very nice video
Thanks buddy!
Outside some frame rate issues, that have since been fixed, I didnt have any bugs with my copy.
Glad you have had no issues. After the last update, I am good too.
A+ review as always...
The ipad can be removed by clicking the STRATUS USB port on the lower panels.
Lovely, thanks for the tip.
You can take off the iPad by clicking the power ports next to the landing gear
Yes, once you take the tie-downs off, the props will spin a little with the wind. This happens in real life with most turboprops.
you can remove the ipad by clicking on the USB port beside the yoke
Q8-1974. Love the registration number ;)
Glad you enjoyed it =)
What about x-enviro 1.09 you saying that is worth the money($70), but it's not working properly, actually it's not flyable. This aircraft works great and looks great and it's worth the money!
Yes in the last version that it worked on, my review was valid. I never said this aircraft isn't worth the money. To the contrary!
@@mariusrumbutis1061 I never said the price of this bird is not worth it. Don't make guesses.
You should pin on xenviro video that is not worth buying that's what I want to say to you!
There is also a taxi range and reversers on this aircraft
Yes correct, as the pinned comment states, there will be a follow up video.
Sounds are all recorded from a real tbm900, one of the beta testers owns a TBM900 they used it for recording and all sorts of fiine tuning....
Engine sounds are great, ambient sounds inside the cockpit (switches ...etc) need some work in my opinion.
@@Q8Pilot you are of course entitled to your opinion, but you are completely wrong on your opinions with the video in its entireity .
@@Q8Pilot They are recorded from the actual aircraft.
People like you are the reason prices are out of control in simming... You don't seem to understand value to product dynamics.
Anyone know why the crash bar isnt staying up?
Nice video 😁
Hello, good vidéo, but how install the ipad?
ok i find it
Nice video sir!
Thanks buddy =)
I’ve been watching this aircraft for 6 months before it’s release, how ? By watching the beta testing team at work.... most of them streamed it live on twitch, so telling the dev he should have had a beta testing team is kind of harsh.
I am simply saying testing was not sufficient. I still maintain that view.
On the real TBM I was told you have to feather the props to taxi at a realistic speed.
You have to put the lever in Taxi range. You can achieve this by setting up a reverse thrust assignment on your joystick.
Yes, the same reply Q8 has given me..Happy Flying...@@ooo_Kim_Chi_ooo
You don't feather the prop, you taxi in beta.
15:48 that tow truck....
RUclips premiers made it looks like you are going to be live streaming or something, it's really bad
This is a premier video. A new feature by RUclips. It allows me to interact with you all via live chat similar to a stream during the first time the video is viewed.
So beautiful aircraft outside but I hate the cockpit. Those screens are too much. I think my money goes to Carenados new Citation
The cockpit is very accurate actually. They have done a great job with the modeling.
@@Q8Pilot I don't doubt that. I like analog instruments more to stare at. Same thing with new cars. Good old speedometer and other gauges are replaced with one flat screen :( but that's the future I guess.
year 2020 all issues are fixed
Great Videos apart from the constant repetition of the expression of 'as you can see' .
Exactly where I was coming from, but it is a great aircraft nevertheless.
Thank you!
I guess it all depends on the system and gear you use. I had no issues except the troubles to stay on the centerline while taking off and landing.
We can't accept criticism?? I don't accept that.
Welcome my friend!
It looks amazing but it is too expensive imo... a lot of people can't justify pay $64... including me! If they had priced it a bit cheaper they would have got more sales, meaning they are still making a ton of money!
64$ for an unfinished aircraft...
Brake issue aside. it's clear you don't actually know how to fly this plane!
People are often obligated to work with X-Aviation, this is the case with Hotstart
We love you, too, Zuikis.
Honestly I was surprised it wasn't more. I think this was a very fair price.
@@TheDNick I would have to agree with you there. Massive work and level of details never seen before in XP11.
Those sounds bro! Very bad
Perhaps you could do a video to show us what a good review should entail. But thanks for watching the video!
This is a "poor" comment. And there are too many things wrong with it for me to list, as I haven't got the time.
