വളരെ കാലത്തെ ആഗ്രഹമായിരുന്നു ഏഴര പള്ളികളെ പറ്റി അറിയണമെന്നുള്ളത് വളരെ മനോഹരമായി ഈ പള്ളികളിൽ എല്ലാം പോയ ഒരു ഫീൽ ഉണ്ടാക്കി തരുവാൻ അച്ഛന് സാധിച്ചു വളരെ നന്ദി അച്ഛാ 🙏🏻

അര പള്ളി തിരുവിതാം കോട് ഓർത്തഡോൿസ്‌ സഭ യുടെ കയ് വശം ആണ്. കേരളത്തിൽ തോമ സ്ലീഹ സ്ഥാപിച്ച പുരാണ സഭ, അതേ പാരമ്പര്യം കാത്തു സൂക്ഷിച്ചു നടത്തുന്നത് ഓർത്തഡോൿസ്‌ സഭ. മറ്റുള്ള സഭകൾ വിദേശ ആധിപത്യം സ്വീകരിക്കയോ, അനുകരിക്കയോ ചെയ്തു. മാതൃ സഭ ആവോളം വ്യവഹാരങ്ങൾ നേരിട്ടു. അതിശയം പോലെ സുപ്രീം കോടതി വിധി 2017 July 3 നു. ഭാരതത്തിന്റെ പുരാണ സഭ ഓർത്തഡോൿസ്‌ ആണെന്നും, അതിന്റെ തലവൻ കാതോലിക്ക മെത്രാൻ ആണ് ഭാരതീയ ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികളുടെ തലവൻ എന്ന് വിധി വന്നു.തോമ സ്ലീഹ യെ കേരളത്തിൽ വിട്ടത് ദൈവ നിയോഗം. എടേസ്സ യിലുള്ള കാതോലിക്ക് സ്ഥാനം 1912 ൽ അവിടെ ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ ആൾക്കാർ കുറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ, തോമ സ്ഥാപിച്ച മലങ്കര ഓർത്തഡോൿസ്‌ നെ ഏല്പിച്ചു. സുപ്രീം കോടതി വിധി വന്നതിന് ശേഷം നിൽക്കുന്ന നിൽപ്പിൽ ചില മെത്രാൻ മാർ കാതോലിക്ക് സ്ഥാനം കൂടെ ചേർത്തു. എനിക്കതിശയം, പത്രിയാറക്കിസ് ന് വേണ്ടി വാദിച്ച മെത്രാൻ, പേരിന്റെ കൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന പത്രിയാര്കിസ് ബാവ സ്ഥാനം മാറ്റി കാതോലിക് ബാവ എന്നാക്കിയത് ആണ്.
ഈ സ്ഥാന മാനങ്ങൾക്ക് വേണ്ടിയുള്ള മെത്രാൻ മാരുടെ നടപടി അല്ലെ ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികളുടെ ഇടയിലെ വഴക്ക്. പിന്നെ വിദേശികൾ വന്നതും ഒരു കാരണം.1500 വർഷം എല്ലാ സുറിയാനിക്കാരും ഒന്ന് ആയിരുന്നു. ആദ്യ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ സമരം 1653 ൽ കൂനൻ കുരിശ് സമരം. പോർട്ടുഗീസ് കാർ വന്നു, മലങ്കര നസ്രാണികളിൽ കുറച്ചു പേരെ റോമൻ കത്തോലിക്കായുടെ പോപ്പിന്റെ അധീനതയിൽ ആക്കിയപ്പോൾ.

കോട്ടേക്കാവ് പള്ളി തോമാസ്ലീഹായുടെ കാലത്ത് കടലിന് അഭിമുഖമായിരുന്നു. കോട്ടയിൽ കോവിലകത്തെ സെന്റ് മേരീസ് പള്ളിക്കരിക്കിലും കോട്ടേക്കാവിനും ഓരോ കോട്ടകളും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. നേരെ വടക്ക് ഇതു പോലെ കോട്ടപ്പുറം പള്ളിയ്ക്കും അഴീക്കോട് പള്ളിക്ക് അരികിലും ഓരോ കോട്ടകളും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.ഇതിന് ഉൾഭാഗം ഉൾക്കടൽ തുറമുഖമായ കൊടുങ്ങല്ലൂർ തുറമുഖമായിരുന്നു. രണ്ട് കോട്ടയുടെയും മദ്ധ്യഭാഗത്തായിരുന്നു സ്ലീഹ കപ്പലിറങ്ങിയത്. കൊടുങ്ങല്ലൂർ തുറമുഖത്തിന് തെക്ക് കോട്ടപ്പുറം കമ്പോളവും, വടക്ക് പറവൂർ കമ്പോളവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. തോമാസ്ലീഹാ മത പ്രചരണവും അത്ഭുതവും സൃഷിച്ചത് ഇവിടെയായിരുന്നു. ഞങ്ങളുടെ പൂർവികരുടെ ഇല്ലം ഈ പള്ളിയുടെ അടുത്തായിരുന്നു. പിന്നീട് AD 1341 - ൽ പുതിയൊരു കര ഗ്രഹ ത്തിന്റെ പാഞ്ഞു പോകലിൽ ഗുജറാത്ത് മുതൽ സിലോൺ വരെ പുതിയ തീരദേശ കര ഉണ്ടായതോടെ പുതിയ കരയിലേക്ക് വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ അടയാളമായ കുരിശ് പല ഇടങ്ങളിലേക്കും മാറ്റിസ്ഥാപിച്ചു. അതോടെ ചുവന്ന മണ്ണും കറുത്ത മണ്ണും വെളുത്ത മണ്ണുമായി കേരളക്കര രൂപാന്തരപ്പെട്ടു. ചുവന്ന മണ്ണിൽ മാത്രമെ തോമാസ്ലീഹാ മത പ്രചരണം നടത്തിയിട്ടുള്ളു. സാവധാനം മൂന്നു കരകരകളും നിരത്തപ്പെടുകയും നികത്തപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തു. തോമ സ്ലീഹായുടെ തൊട്ടു വിശ്വാസവും ആഴത്തിലുള്ള ദൈവവിശ്വാസവും തൊട്ടുവിശ്വാസികളുടെ വിശ്വാസം ആഴത്തിലായി. അതോടെ ആ വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ തോണി മറ്റു രണ്ടു കരകളിലും അടുപ്പിച്ചു. സാവധാനം കറുത്ത മണ്ണ് നികത്തപ്പെട്ടു. യഹൂദരുടെ കപ്പലുകൾ പുറം കടലിൽ അഭയം പ്രാപിച്ചു. പിന്നീട് വന്ന കമ്പോളമാണ് പതിനെട്ടാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിലെചക്കരക്കടവ് പള്ളിയുടെ കിഴക്കുവശത്ത് കടവാരത്തുള്ള ചക്കരക്കടവ് കമ്പോളം. 1924 ലെ പ്രളയത്തിൽ ചെറായി ബീച്ചിൽ നിന്നും ഒരു കി.മീറ്ററോളം കര കടലിൽ പരന്ന് കപ്പലുകൾ നങ്കൂരമിടാൻ അനുയോജ്യമല്ലാതായി. പിന്നീട് വ്യാപാര കേന്ദ്രം കൊച്ചി യിലേക്ക് മാറ്റപ്പെട്ടു. കടലിന്റെ ആഴം അഴിമുഖത്ത് വർദ്ധിച്ചതോടെ കഴക്കോൽ ഊന്നിയുള്ള വള്ളങ്ങൾക്കും നിലയില്ലാതായി. അതോടെ വ്യാപാരം എറണാകുളത്തേയ്ക്ക് മാറ്റപ്പെട്ടു. അങ്ങനെ വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ മത സ്ഥാപന തലസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ എറണാകുളത്ത് കറുത്ത മണ്ണിൽ ഉയർന്ന് പൊങ്ങി.
തോമാസ്ലീഹായുടെ മരണാന്തരം തന്റെ പേരിലുള്ള മതം മൂന്നായി തീർന്നു അത് യൂറോപ്യന്മാരുടെ ഭരണകാലത്തായിരുന്നു. പോർച്ച് ഗീസ് ലത്തിൽ, റോമൻ സിറിയൻ യാക്കോബായ എന്നീ മത വിഭാഗങ്ങൾ വെളുത്ത മണ്ണിലേക്ക് കൂടിയേറി അവരുടെ പള്ളികളും സ്ഥാപിച്ചു. യൂറോപ്യന്മാരാണെങ്കിലും അസൂയമൂലം ഡച്ചുകാർ അവർ പടുത്തുയർത്തിയ കോട്ടയും പള്ളിപ്പുറം പള്ളിയും നശിപ്പിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചു. കിസ്ത്യാനികളോട് ഏറെ സൗഹൃദത്തിലായിരുന്ന ശക്തൻ തമ്പുരാൻ കൊച്ചി മഹാരാജാവായിരുന്ന കാലത്താണ് ചക്കരക്കടവ് ഗീവർഗ്ഗീസ് പുണ്യാളന്റെ നാമധേയത്തിലുള്ള കമ്പോളത്തിലെ ചെറിയ പള്ളി വലുതാക്കി പണിയാൻ സൗജന്യമായി സ്ഥലവും മരങ്ങളും തന്നത്... പിന്നീടാണ് റോസപ്പുണ്യവതിയുടെ നാമധേയത്തിൽ ആയത്.

After this elazararapalli. There is a tradition of St. Thomas raised a cross in arivithura and kurivilangad. Need research on this. Please do pilgrimage to Mylapore where st. Thomas martyred. Mylapore st. Thomas tomb was the only big pilgrimage for nasaranis before Portuguese era.
