Ive been a solar installer/solar electrician for a few years now. I want to be my own boss. I've been doing my research for a while and I think I'm ready to pull the trigger. Thank you for all the information you give on your videos 👍
Can you do a video on how to harness and bringing equipment up the ladder. I am planning to start a solar cleaning business and extremely new to everything. Thanks
Got a video coming for you, should drop in the next week or two
Thank you very much 😊
hi all the way in south africa how often do you get customer based on solar cleaning its self
What’s up Man! Great video, I just wanted to ask about the Rotary brush, do you use electricity provided from the customer? Or do you bring a power source with you in the van ?
My van has a power source, but this specific rotary brush is water driven
What are your thoughts on the new china made solar panel electric brushes they're selling at racenstien and wcr?
What’s up with these drone systems I see on You Tube?
What Brush do you use?
Very good work. What do you use to tie off onto the roof? Or how do you do it
Harness and rope, then anchor to roof, chimney, van etc…
How do you anchor on a roof? U nail it down?
@@allonesolarshinecan you elaborate on how your anchoring
$15 grand is way too much to spend on a manual labor startup business when there's no guarantee you'll get any leads to recoup the investment. Even return customers only need 1 cleaning per year. If you Crack a customers panel with cold water you won't get paid. Risk isnt worth the "unlikely" reward.
How about down time ? Like when it rains etc etc ?
Solar panels still need to be cleaned in the rain or you focus on other needed services
@allonesolarshine as far as like bird proofing and cleaning underneath the panels ? Or what other services may someone offer ? Sorry about all the questions I'm really interested in starting my own company but need some serious help understanding the business at whole........
Can you just clean the panels from the ladder and use spot free water brush to begin?
Hard to explain but in certain situations it can be doable, however out here in California with the house’s architecture it can only happen in very few cases
hi bro where can i buy the rotary brush you are using thank you great vids btw
Blue brush (solatec) is sold by Bob in Chico, Ca
White brush (j racenstein) sold by Mar in Lake Elsinore, Ca
@@allonesolarshine Thank you so much!
Can i start the business just with an LLC
How you clean on the 45 pitch
put in roof anchor or use built in house one but I always trust mine more because I know its in a rafter but than when done take out your lag screws and put geocel 4500 in the penetration holes than also grab two pieces of flashing and put geocel in a u shape but upside down on one side of flashing and put it under the shingle fully covering penetration holes, besides that you should know how to use a rope on a roof anchor if your even trying to do a 45 trust me I would know I actually install these systems on 45 and even steeper granted after 45 degrees I use my cougar paws 😂😂😎😎
What kind of license do you need or how to start business from scratch
Business license, city license, insurance
@@allonesolarshine To add to his question what kind of insurance do you need? Just general liability or others? Also, any special certificates?
Anyone doing business outside of Cali?
Many people
Does door to door help get customers?
Absolutely, it’s not my #1 source but it does help
I’m in California help me I got twins on the way!!!
I’ve worked in solar for over 20 years you are void the warranty when you saturate the panels!! They stop after the fact? And have to be replaced trina solar lol
Do you shut of the solar system before cleaning??
No
I install these systems you will be fine just don't go fucking with my soledeks lol trust me you will have a rude awakening if system is live and also just mainly stay away from all the things with stickers for code that basically say danger lol
