It doesn't appear on my setup the "train" "TrueNas 12 [Stable]" only appears TrueNAS 12.1 Nightlies... edit: I upgrade by the "legacy web" of freenas 11.2
@@GetMeTheGeek Yes, I used the "legacy web" on Freenas 11.2 and in the updates menu the train "Truenas 12 [Stable]" appears. So I upgraded from there ...
I have done a few OMV videos too. It is a great Linux NAS with great support for Docker. When TrueNas scale comes out it will be an excellent Linux based NAS alternative to OMV.
@@GetMeTheGeek tbh, IXsystems have screwed around too much. Cant trust their products anymore. Not even the free ones (not for long, trust me) Edit: For this example. Now I have to manually UPGRADE every damn jail. I am so thru with all the problems they bring with each update. Think I dare to upgrade the ZFS on the live system? Hell no XD Edit2: Yeah they removed the easy shell via jail prompt as well. Awesome! (Sarcastic)

Yeah it's about time I upgrade to OMV. FreeASS and TrueASS went down the drain

OVM is a great project. I prefer TrueNas. Check out TrueNas Scale if your looking for a Linux version. It is getting close to ready
