I bought the loreal primer and I didn't like how it clumped my lashes together. I ended up buying the lancome one and really liking it. For me its worth the money. I feel you do get what you paid for. Thanks for making a review!
Thanks for taking the time to do this comparison - - especially since you're in the mist of a move. I always find moving physically, and emotionally draining. I really think L'Oréal has been kicking butt lately. I've always been a fan of L'Oréal's mascaras, but I haven't tried their lash primer. When it's next on sale, I'll check it out. I used to think that the Lancome was better, but that was when I was comparing it to a sample size of the Loreal. I am using a full size now, and think it works great. I still didn't think it made that big of a difference using a primer or not, until I opened a new container of PUR "fully charged" that I had received in a mystery bag.. The Pur flaked all over the place on it's own, but it does not flake at all when I use the primer.

In my opinion, formula & application wise, it’s going to be Lancôme for me, I’ve never truly used L’Oréal tbh so I can’t say much on the matter but as so the lash primer, when I don’t let the primer dry and just go right in with the Lancôme matching mascara, there’s two & I have both but I prefer the smaller wand than the bigger one it just gives a more natural look, anyway yeah my opinion idk
Venting Ahead ALERT. So my Ipsy plus has had an exception in the mail and it is nowhere to be found. They have not shipped out my Boxyluxe and even if they did it probably doesn't have the right color face palette in it because they made a mistake. (Aka: They didn't have their shit together for this shade match a face palette. Said they did and BSed us all)I ordered the Sephora daily wow 2 Clinique cleanser UPS lost that box, Sephora cancelled my order and I had to wait till it came back into stock and now I am reordered it again and they're honoring the price. High piont😳And just par for the course I was cleaning my house and realized I forgot to buy paper towels and had to go to the store in the middle of a rainstorm today. I really really really have had a shity week. But now I am watching you and I have to start the video over because I am a frustrated bitter bi+@h! Thank for listening...❌✖❌

Oh no! Sorry to hear everything has been chaotic. That kind of reminds me of my situation in December - I had 6 or 7 packages in a row arrive with broken products. It was SO infuriating. I heard about the Boxyluxe palettes too - they have had it together for so long, I don't know what on earth happened with the mix-up (did they have any of the light palettes?) I would be so mad too!

I set my mascara when I know it's a trickier mascara. So for example, when I have a mini mascara that I don't love because it's flaking, I'll set it so I can finish off the tube. ALSO I do set it when I've gone extra heavy on it, since that's another way to get fallout. Basically, both primer and setting help with flaking, and together they're a surefire way to prevent messy mascara!

Yes primer helps a lot in preventing flaking! For $6ish dollars (for L'oreals), I'll never be without it!

If you like superhero, you might actually prefer L'oreals primer! It does deposit volume faster (which I think superhero does as well)
