That girl in the thumbnail is my daughter. She adores Eddie. She met him last year at Buckeye and they sat on stage and he showed her videos on his phone of him riding. She absolutely loved it. Eddie is such a down to earth guy. Can’t wait for the opportunity to hang out with him again…

PLEASE come back to Calgary for the RAD 40th anniversary, my biggest curiosity about the movie is EXACTLY where every scene is, I worked for a year and a half directly across from the lumberyard at all span, and my wife went to bowness high (the high school in the movie) and I can point out just about every scene everywhere in Cochrane, but some of the neighborhood shots on the paper route I’m pretty lost on.
I’d like to make a mini documentary showing clips from Calgary and Cochrane in the movie and showing what they look like today, remembering that history accurately (to me) is important.
I’m SO proud that RAD was filmed in my neck of the woods❤️🤙🏻

I met Hollywood Mike Miranda at Jax Bicycle center in Long Beach were i worked. He came in as a rep for a brand and me and my bros were like "WTF!!! THAT WAS HOLLYWOOD MIKE MIRANDA!"

Such a shame I missed this event.... Don't get me wrong RW will be awesome in 2025, but Eddie n Mike at one event, 5hrs from my house, and me not being there is a soul crusher. LOL
And I agree with the one word that Mike Miranda was going around asking one person said freedom and that is kind of how I felt that first because it was my first way to get around.

Wow, I have not seen Scottie Freeman even on video and probably 35 years and it’s crazy to think he was once the youngest kid well he was the youngest kid until the other two guys came into the scene. I can’t think one was Eric Evans and one was Craig Macombo, yes I know voice to text spelled his last name wrong but Scottie Freeman was the first young one. What would be really great is to see all of the freestyle legends from back in the day together one last time. I know, Woody it only rides on his birthday every year And RL came back briefly and he disappeared again but it would be great just to see everyone together one last time let’s face it. We’re all get an old. I’m 50 I’ll be 51 in a month and a half August 16. I know some of the guys were 10 years older than me maybe more. I’d even like to see the BMX racers altogether one last time. Even though I was more of a freestyler, I still enjoyed reading about the races. Basically anything BMX I enjoyed from 86 to late 88. Unfortunately, once the magazines disappeared living in the Bronx New York, I had no way of really staying involved in BMX so once the magazines disappeared that was around the same time as me getting the drivers license and girlfriends and I never looked back. Then one day about 13 years ago, I was looking for my 87 Haro Master again and came across BMX museum, which I refuse to join for the first six months and then I finally joined and I am still a member today. I bought way too many new old stock items probably enough to buy two new cars, but it brought me back to my younger days. I’m not gonna lie. I really want to move to Florida and get away from New York but I would love to just be in California for a few months to hang out with everybody on a Tuesday Martin and Eddie. Watching them ride specially on a Tuesday on Instagram is like a Time Machine, going back 40 years. Hopefully one day I make it while I can still ride a little bit.
They should have had these guys do the actual commentary on the blu ray.

pepole say why are those men riding bikes that are to small for them i tell them those men were the ones that started freestyle like eddie fiola see eddie has nothing to prove he done it all pools ramps flatland this man and many other riders did the same i was there to watch these guys ride at there prime im glade there comming back some of them still riding others talking about bmx freestyle...
