All those things you mentioned about old school components not working that great is why I'm mechanically inclined and know how to change my car tire and do tricks without pads and foam pits don't regret having to learn hard way to do things right it hurt but that was half the fun falling and almost pulling off trick getting upper over and over friends cheering you on till you made it balls swollen and theet missing . Lol I miss those days glad I was part of the evolution of bmx ramp ,skateboard ramp and surfing to grow up then to come up with new tricks see first airs in all three sports and evolution what it is today always remember when doing all three when the old dude drops in or paddles out pay homage to those who paved the way and had a vision and balls to try the impossible before disrespecting gramps careful he or her might surprise you . Thanks for your vidios
Yes! I am one of those dudes that had the Torker-X on the track at the Music City National. Got tons of compliments from all the old-school duders! I’m a 51-55 Intermediate so my guys and the shoot next to me were the 56+ dudes. Love this bike!!! 🖤💛🖤💛🖤
It’s what the Pro X would have become if Torker kept going. For me it’s new school strength and rideability with old school style. But. I love my Barbarian. I’ll probably never race it, but what a machine to cruise on!
I love my Pro-X 24 so much that I ordered the Pro-X 20 XXL too! I didn't think I'd like the modern updates at first, but after starting the build, I'm glad it was done this way. The Pro-X was the last frame I raced with when I rode for Torker back in the early 80's. Wish I had kept it! These new Torkers have made me want to get back into racing again at 55! I ended-up buying one of each, and hope to get them all built up soon!
I remember when all my friends were riding redline and hutch prostar ans SE racing I had a GT and when I saw torker in magazines and can't remember his name but guy with long blonde hair and he was tall and lanky on a pro x I had to have one I rods old concrete bowls and shady quarter pipes and half pipe it was perfect for my lanky build and ramp riding I loved it it was cutting edge with double top tube perfect for tricks compared to other frames at time. I wish I still had it my nephews kids are racing no and I'm luck to live in S.C. and got chance to go to watch some of world. I still surf and skate ramps at 55 I wish I still had bike .
My old-school early 80s twin top tube Torker was stolen in 1997.....😔 It was solid chrome, had white tuff mags, a bent seat post, white seat, white grips, and I put center pull brakes on it, and a chrome chain.
been a torker fan since waaayyy back everyone I knew had a dimond back(viper?) I could never get one..just no shops had them in my area, so I ended up with one of the first schwin predators..this was back in 83 I think... So, where are these available??? I still ride :)
Looks cool but you lost me right away with the integrated head set, having to use a thick seat post like the cheap bikes of yester year, Euro bottom braket and those brake mounts.. Does look cool but way to modern for me
Oh, and talking about the Barbarian - please hurry up and get those forks decals sent to your UK distributor. They tell me you sent the wrong ones out?..
Sorry we didn't put enough effort for you. We tried . There were 100 of the Pro - X frames in the first producttion amongst the sizes. We are going to try to have the same next drop. But we are trying to make sure we keep them affordable and high quality, so that means that sometimes you will have to wait. Sorry if you missed the first drop.
This is just stunning. I'm 51 and back building and riding bmx. I need this. Thank you guys for keeping bmx alive.
Thanks guys! We are trying!!

Awesome! You rode it at the dragstrip in honor of the Human Dragster!!!!
I will forever regret not having someone take a picture us in the Music City chutes. After 40 yrs what were odds.
@@dogma04 Yeah, we totally missed the boat on that. Next time!!!!

Bought one,but man,so many parts to consider, where to start?

So glad you are happy with them!! We are trying to make everyone happy!!!
I'd be all over this if I wasn't laid off from work. Looks fun to ride!
Hope you get a new job soon!!
I forgot all about having to reach down and tighten the headset all the time! Awesome bike, guys!
Thanks! 👍
I found this videos about 4days ago i really like the 26
Are making any more
Great frame and fork !!!
Thank you!
Class frame bill👏👍
Bill… WTF I love my 67 bronco! Three on the tree, smooth as silk.
But honestly this summer I’m putting more miles on my MX26!
Hey, I love the old Bronco's too... but if you want to road trip, I would rather take the G6 over the original for anything over 50 miles.

If you fix the fork that comes with the freestyle frame so the tube doesn't extend past the dropouts (Bottema style) I will buy one.
That fork is only on the Fiola model as it is a replica of what he rode. The others do not extend down if you watch the videos.
Can you still ride these bikes when you are 5’ 10”?
Yes you can the pro xxl would be perfect for you
Is the pro x 20 sold out in pro xl?
Yes, they sold out quick. Only a few of the XXL left
This man could sell ice cubes to native Alaskans.
I had a pro x. Somebody stole it and left me a sizzler skateboard in its place. I think I was the only person in my town with a torker.

We have sent Alan's a ton of different decals. I am sorry if they sent you the wrong ones.
@@torkerbmxAlan’s told me you sent the wrong fork decals to them. They’ve not sent me anything at all yet.
Torker try putiing more effort next time and make more so others can get one. If your interested in getting people interested in your company again.

Threadless headsets do come loose I love threaded as it's help together by thread
